For the Lord is coming for those who really love Him in July 2015! To be a Christian in the strictest sense means to be a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, NOT just as a great Teacher of truth, but as God Himself in the flesh! This is the fundamental truth on which the whole of Christianity rests. The question is how many people who claim to be Christians today, actually believe it? Those that do, have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them and those that don't, do not, and therefore are not saved. They're Christians in name only. Christians that have the Holy Spirit do not behave in the same way as Christians in name only. Because of the Holy Spirit in them they have a strong desire to study the Word of God, the Bible, and obey its commandments. The Lord Himself teaches us what these are: "Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:30,31] The Lord was speaking about Himself in above verse, for in another place He says: "If you love Me, keep My commandments...If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word...He who does not love Me does not keep My words..." [John 14:15,23,24] This is what the Word teaches from Genesis to Revelation! We are to read the Word daily and learn the correct way to love the Lord Jesus Christ! Because we do this through the indwelling presence of His Holy Spirit, life eternal is continuously being added to us through every act of love we express towards fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death." [1 John 3:14] This is what prepares us for a life in the kingdom of heaven after the death of our bodies! We really don't have all the time in the World to make up our minds to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ! This was brought to my attention by a co-worker, he said that that the city is going to be essentially shut down except for the people arriving in on church buses. Apparently the pope hadn't set a concrete date until just recently. It was speculated to occur this fall, then it was narrowed down to September, and now the date is set for the 26th and 27th.(which also has a correlation with the JH15 activities) It's a little too coincidental that he is going to come over shortly after the "impact date" which I believe is the 24th. Why would the pope be coming to the states? The last time there was a pope in the USA was the 70's I believe. It only makes sense that he's going to try to ease the minds of all those Christians that will be crying about the sky falling. IDK guys, there's few too many coincidences for me to think that there isn't SOMETHING going on. What do you guys think? Thanks Pope Benedict 16 visited the states..n y I think |
