Bodies buried within past 30 years not decomposing
Any ideas as to what has caused this slowing of decomposing?

Doctors and undertakers in Germany and Switzerland are becoming very concerned with what is happening to dead bodies from the last 30 years. It’s not so much what IS happening to the bodies, but what is NOT happening.

At a scientific conference in Düesseldorf, Dr. Werner Stolz presented a pretty shocking report. According to Dr. Stolz bodies that have been buried in the last 20-30 years that are being exhumed are not decomposing. He referenced 32 cases where a body that was buried for more than 20 years has been exhumed and looked like they had only been in the ground for a couple of weeks at the most.

Embalming fluid preserves the dead body . Why are the scientists surprised at that?

probably being entombed with toxic chemicals that are specially made so you don't deteriorate (and make sure your really dead, because being buried alive is soo 1800s). And being put in an air tight box, and then "buried" in a cement box so if theres a flood the caskets don't decide to take a river ride.

That or it was space fairies.

Interesting, so the flesh on those bodies is so toxic even insects and other decomposers won't touch it.

This^ In some of my genealogy papers I have a record of an ancestor who died in the 1700's. In his final accounting it says the family paid a few gallons of rum for burial expenses. I've often wondered if the rum was used to embalm the deceased or to get the undertaker hammered?

And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.

John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address

Lincoln's economic advisor Henry C. Carey explained the universal issue in his 1851 Harmony of Interests:

"Two systems are before the world.... One looks to pauperism, ignorance, depopulation, and barbarism; the other to increasing wealth, comfort, intelligence, combination of action, and civilization. One looks towards universal war; the other towards universal peace. One is the English system; the other ... the American system, for ... elevating while equalizing the condition of man throughout the world."

Maybe because before that we didnt dig people up to say hello. There are cases of people buried in the early 1900's or even before that are the same due to the power of preservative chemicals after death.

Yep
Learned this 20 years - our micro professor had a few "samples" from a body farm, preservatives in the food slows decomposition.
