My friend is intersex. He/She has both a penis & a vagina. How do you feel about hermaphrodites and what they could teach all of us?

To answer the header what it teaches us all is genetics is a crap shoot when you keep combining multiple sources of genetic material ie DNA.

No big mystery there and certainly has nothing to do with a fictitious piece of literature.

Damn near everyone is so... ignorant and vile about this topic. Amazing. If one is born a herm and it is one's choice to remain a herm, what gives you the right to demand the herm to choose a gender and stick with it? Being a herm is as much of one's identity as being a unisexual is for all other non-herms. Ever stopped to think things through about how the herms are a fantastic bridge between males and females? How the herms can truly help society in helping unisexuals to understand the opposite genders' desires, thought patterns, etc. better. So many of y'all look so hard to beat, rape, maim, and murder one another, but in no particular order. I'm just really curious how so many people can be so hateful, blind, ignorant, and vile to each other about herms. Last I knew there aren't ANY herms who've been flaunting their genitals on TV like quite alot of unisexuals. Yet so many people act as though it's nothing but herms having sex with each other and alot of other sexual stuff virtually constantly. Are you blind and vile haters that jealous of the herm? If this is true, it started recently and I willing to bet OP is over 18, so your argument is bullshit.

I have often considered that the species 'Adam' was intersex! The species 'Eve' was the splitting into two genders. 'Adam' was the purer species and things started to go down hill with 'Eve'. I believe this is also why we have throw backs to intersex - 'Adam'.
