I had exactly the same issues. I don't know if i'm particularly sensitive to it or what but my ears started ringing and didn't feel good after eating aspartame laced sweets. Never again, the stuff is clearly toxic.

Nasty stuff, can't get away from it, it is in almost all food products. Same with HFCS.

My question is, How the hell is this stuff not banned?

And where are the lawsuits?

Warn everyone, School teachers are saying they can tell the kids on aspartame, they get it from home in pudding, candy, ice cream. its everywhere

Teachers are saying these kids are figidity and feeling their heart race for no reason and they arent articulate enough to cry for help and find the cause but they sit and suffer, its awful to do that to the kids.

IF you are going to go with a sweetner go with stevia or monk fruit. At least it's natural and not a chemical that tricks your brain into thinking it's sweet.

I thought I was having a heart attack, Also got aching joints and a stiff neck. Thought I had the flu, took some aspirin, didn't help. I finally sourced the culprit for my predicament.

The detox helped, took some vitamin b complex, e and plenty of vitamin C cleared me from the poison.

After 5 days, I am back to my normal health.

The gmo insecticides in corn do same thing to a humans stomach as an insects. Explode. I haven't had hfcs in nearly 4 years. It is possible to do. Can't eat out except on special occasion. Have to read every label. Use only turbanado or raw sugars. Since I told doctor the dangers of hfcs 3 years ago have noticed it getting pulled out of a lot of food. I must not have been only one reporting symptoms. The hfcs is one of the main causes of obesity. Mercury is used in processing which fogs brain functions.

Class action lawsuits need to get underway ASAP.

Your body still processes it as sugar. Affects insulin same way as sugar. No calories, body still responds to it as sugar. Ever wonder why people who drink diet coke are still obese?

The only safe sweetener is raw or lightly refined cane sugar. Accept no alternatives. One exception coconut sugar but very expensive.

Ah palm sugar, they are quite cheap from Asian Groceries.

Been trying to tell my mother in law this for years.... she has all of the symptoms of aspartame poisoning but she drinks sugar free flavored water all day long. She actually thinks she's helping herself.

I think many peeps who think they have MS or Fibromyalgia actually have aspartame poisoning.

Fibro yeah, they found out that aspartame victims had same acid in their bodies as if they were stung by fire ants

I seem to be super sensitive to the poisons in our food. Food dyes/colors break me out in hives that erupt into sores sometimes with anaphylactic shock and hoarseness. Red dye 40 is one of the worst which is in most red meats at the grocery store and it doesn't take much to do it. Skittles is the most loaded dyed candy with the whole rainbow assortment of dyes. Aspartame makes me very nauseated or I simply throw it right back up with no warning then I'm fine again.


The symptoms to sensitivity to dyes varies from person to person. Children can do the hives OR they may be very angry, uncontrollable, hyper, headaches. It is not hard to find dyes, anything that is brightly unnaturally colored is dyed. A large percentage of our food is dyed. Macaroni & Cheese, most juices.

I also get massive kidney "infections" from caramel color (first issue I had was this at 17). I also have a friend that does the same thing after years of drinking diet sodas. There are different types of processes to produce caramel color but the chemically changed one is in most dark sodas like Coke and Dr. Pepper, brown gravy mixes, generally most dark gravy type soups.

Aspartame is classified as a excitotoxin. It also contains methanol which is a deadly poison. Why would anyone ingest this shit?

Bazooka Joe boxed is the only gum I know which still has sugar....not soft bazooka joe, but the old time kind.

I think you can find it at wal-mart of all places. Not so easy to find, so stock up on it.

Real sugar is the only safe one. Expect studies to come out about Stevia eventually. Every single alternative thus far has turned out to be worse than the real thing. Same thing with butter. Margarine is way worse. Why mess with what nature provided?

Read Andrew Weil when I had cancer. His real foods plan helped to keep it to surgery only and no poison treatments necessary. Still here a dozen years later.

That is the million dollar question...Because most products now a days are stealthily riddled with them. In my case, I couldn't find a single pack of gum with sugar. All the chewing gum sold in all shops are Aspartame gums.

At least in my area.

I also love how they removed the word aspartame from the packaging label ingredient and replace it with some numbers e951.

Any unsuspecting poor soul will be content and purchase the product due to its absence.
