These folks are the blind leading the blind in a ditch. They think it's a bumpy road, but it's a ditch.

They're blind so they cannot see it and their followers cannot see it because they are being lead by a blind person.

But you can see, on the other hand, those who have evil intentions (overt or covert,) and strive for evil outcomes (fruit.)

The road to hell is paved with good intentions -- to become good fruit, we have to act on the intent -- and produce good outcomes or results.

If you view these steps from a "label" or "occult" (as an object in a magazine,) you'll have an incorrect perception of how things are supposed to be and work. However, if you view these steps as a subject / Child of God, with no labels as race, gender, or other, then you can see clearly w/out an occult "veil" obscuring the true intention and path which produces good fruit.

Oh hey I just remembered a zen book I read some years ago from a zen master who passed away not so long ago, wherein he described the process in a circular way, with stages corresponding to the quadrants degrees, starting with sanity, going through insanity, then coming back to sanity (he described it in terms like, first "dog" is "dog", "1+1=2", etc, then near 180 degrees "dog" could be "giraffe", "1+1=62", etc then all the way through to 360 degrees eventually, wherein dog is dog and 1+1=2 again

Mmmhhhhaaahahaaha many a hippy child, I should imagine. One has to really know the fabric of one's own consciousness to avoid the pitfalls involved, or have a very good Teacher to gently guide one along the way.

The book, I just remembered, was Dropping Ashes on the Buddha, by Zen Master Seung Sahn

Actually I've learnt to love the craziness. I couldn't go back to sanity even if I wanted to.

Every fiber of my being fights any sort of mental manipulation, making reading something like that akin to torture. You don't even want to see me high. I'm like, excuse me while I focus my way back to sober. No fun at parties.
