I'm so sorry to hear about how bad the week has been for you. It feels overwhelming at times. I know. I know there are people worse off than me and I truly am grateful for the things I do have. A roof over my head etc. But I did finally realize I thought I had it under control, and I don't. It's a long story. But yes. Prayer is the answer.

If you fully trust in Him, God will always see that you have your needs taken care of!

I was raised in a Christian home, so God was no stranger, but we all have to seek him ourselves (like I knew He was real and I prayed, but I hadn't truly truly devoted my life to him, if that makes sense.)

Anyway, at the age of probably 22 on my life started changing. At 26 I found myself completely burdened with something going on in my life (sorry for being vague, but anyway).
This situation had me living in my parents house in between moving to my new house, I have to say it really was the most heartbreaking situation I had been in.
I was beyond stressed, I couldn't even function. So one day, after work I went home, drug my tired self upstairs dropped to my knees and screamed (and I mean literally screamed) "What ever your will is Lord, I accept it, I cannot carry this any longer, It is yours"

I actually meant those words (it wasn't a jaded promise like when you're 18 and drunk puking and begging for it to stop and saying you'll never drink again, knowing you will) what ever the outcome would be, I was going to accept it.

I've never felt such peace in my life. The court date came, I lost the case. I cried a lot, it was not the outcome any of us expected (it wasn't criminal it was J&DR). All of my friends and family gathered with me through the next coming days, and though I was beyond heartbroken, I knew this was God's will, and I had chosen to trust in Him, and accept it. And I did.

To this day, I've never questioned that outcome and why it happened the way it did, I know one day I will understand, but I am forever grateful for a hard life lesson on how God will carry a burden for you, you just have to let him, Trust Him and accept what ever comes. Even if it's bad, he's right there every single step.

UPDATE:
I dropped off a copy of of my daughters pay stubs to the attorney this morning. The son-in-law is still in jail at County. My daughter will buy a phone today, as she gets paid today.
My grandson's 7th birthday was yesterday. He does not know his dad is in jail. He just thinks he is gone again. My daughter has not told the kids. I am glad they were over my house when this all went down.
The son-in-law helped himself to the kids TV and game system, and other things, again. Every time he leaves, he takes the children's electronic toys, busts up furniture, throws the food out of the fridge onto the floor, and takes anything else he wants. He has done this in front of the kids. They have cried, begged, and screamed, but he doesn't care. This has been going on for the past year, and my daughter cannot stop him without divorcing him, or getting a court order to prevent him from coming near them.She cannot afford to replace anything, anymore. She even said, why should she replace the TV and the kids game system, when he just comes on over and takes them again? He even took the chairs to the table this time, but left the table intact.The last time he was there before he ended up in jail, he came over to my daughters house in a fit of rage after fighting with his girlfriend, and smashed the table I bought her to replace the other one he destroyed. He also busted up several other items, and threw the food out of the fridge onto the floor. He is REALLY crazy, and dangerous.
Please pray, my friends, that he stays in jail a long time, so my daughter and my 3 grandchildren have some peace.

I'm praying he can't hurt them anymore.

URGENT PRAYER NEEDED !
My son-in-law got out of jail yesterday. The police were supposed to call us, and they never did. We just now found out. He is staying at his mothers, who lives about a 25 minute drive from here, on the other side of the state line.The earliest my daughter can get a restraining order is Monday. I sure hope the court issued a temporary 72 hour restraining order on him.
My daughter is going to have to call off work on Monday and try to get a restraining order.

You should be able to call and find out. I had a feeling that would happen (that's why I suggested calling daily).

If not- The magistrate on call can issue a 72 hour, WITHOUT court. She has to use the words "fear for my life".

Prayers being said for safety!

Absolutely ridiculous. I've been in a similar situation, the fear wasn't fair, he should have been in fear, not me!

No. Courts are all closed for the weekend.IF we had known he got out yesterday, she could have found a judge immediately either yesterday or today, but the police never called like they were supposed to. We thought he was still in jail.

My daughter just got a phone at Walmart. At least she has communication now.This is a bit of relief.
Please keep the prayers coming, my friends. I am sure my son-in-law is like a howling demon from spending a few days in jail.
