I got a real shitty phone call on my way to work this morning. My family could use some prayers. My cousin was found dead this morning. Overdose. He was only a couple of years older than me. Two young children.

It hasn't fully hit me yet, but it will. We were very close growing up. : (

Seems we are being attacked , sooooo sorry we are in times that if we are not deep rooted in faith this seems like the answer.


Dear Heavenly Father , we lift up the loved ones of John it is hard down here Lord we need You, we need saving , help Simple and all that cared for John get through this and peace come from You as this world does not offer it, we pray whatever brought John to this act be healed and have no lasting effects on the family until then help them Lord , Help Them in Jesus name amen...

Prayers said for your cousin John, for you, and for your family.

12 years ago, I lost a young man named Jimmy, who I helped to raise. I considered him my son, and my oldest daughter considered him to be her brother. His parents were alcoholics,and his dad was abusive. They lived in an apartment across the street from me in my old neighborhood. He would be left alone while his parents were in the local bar. I fed him, clothed him, and gave him as much guidance as I could for many years. He was a playmate for my oldest daughter, and I have many pictures of them as children, playing in my yard. As an adult,he turned to drugs, but was trying to kick them.He accidentally overdosed on coke.I was devastated when I found out he had died, as I had just seen him and talked to him a couple of weeks before.
I was overwhelmed with grief, and worried about his soul. He was a good young man, who got hooked up with drugs. He had a lot of pain inside, because of his horrible family life, even though I had tried my best to help him.
I prayed and prayed, for God to have mercy on his soul. About 2 weeks after Jimmy died, I had a vision. Jimmy appeared before me, in a long white robe, and holding a palm branch. He was smiling, and was glowing from head to toe. He told me not to worry, as he was OK, and thanked me for everything.

Nothing is impossible with God.
