Dear Heavenly Father , we lift up our GLP family this day, we have some waiting on test results , we ask for a good report, we have some struggling financially we ask You provide the needs , we have some hurting from loss , we ask You comfort them, most of all Dear Lord help us all long for what Your heart longs for , help us to stay deep rooted in a ever changing world , help us fix our eyes on You and the enemy have no power in all this , in Jesus name amen

Dear Heavenly Father we ask for continued healing and the enemy lose all power in this for good in Jesus name amen

1 Samuel 16 shows us many things about God . Verse 1 And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

There is a” really Samuel , “ tone is this. I smiled at this passage thinking how He loves us but how almost silly we must seem to Him at times.

I love God's plan for Samuel to keep him safe from Saul and no flags be raised. If we allow Him, His plans are always better then ours.


Verse 7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

This shows us what most of us know, God sees what we do not. God uses what we would not. Even now we deiced who should do what with human minds . When I was younger I always questioned why in America we had created a system that is called the millionaires club , and only from that lot , we pick our leaders . We would never pick a shepherd boy , we decide what they should look like and where they should have come from and how they where educated...

Verse 14 But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.

If you ever doubted that God is in charge of ALL things for His purpose , this should remove those doubts.
Long ago we took many things out of God's Hands and have given them to something or someone else.

A great part of the time Jesus walked with the Apostles was spent on casting out evil Spirits. They are very real and we have either medicated , locked up prison , killed or hospitalized , numbers to great to count. He told tell us how to heal all things . I think about what goes so wrong in the last days that it becomes so evil and this would be at the top of the list.

Verse 23 And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

Luke 7:21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.


God has power over all things for His purpose from a drought to an evil Spirit. It is all about faith and knowing Who is really in control!!!

Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

My 10 month old just projectile vomited in the living room, where my wife is sleeping, because she's sick, and I'm trying to clean it up - and now I feel like throwing up - since I'm covered in sweat - and I sweat and teeth chattered all night... we're all sick - and I know this doesn't sound like it'd be a major event -- but I'm like 10 more "Come fly away with me woof woof, is the CAT READY to fly?" toy and just so much of this families bodily fluids and somehow I'm in charge of it all..



God, help.

I've been going through struggles since September and I am looking at a couple of job opportunities that I hope will really turn things around for me, but there are some details that make it a little more difficult than normal. If things do not work out very, very soon, then I could very likely be homeless with my son.

Prayers that I get the job and that we are able to turn it around and find success and blessings!
