you freak me out I woke today thinking of you, I love you to...That is what the Spirit does

2 Samuel 11, is a story everyone knows. It is where King David that has everything becomes Eve in the Garden and Saul the King, that did to David as David did to Uriah...
It is the best example of so many thing , but the greatest is what happens when we forget out first Love. Most of the world believes, most of the events in our lives are random. God showed me long ago there are no coincidences in His Kingdom. Uriah astounds me with his loyalty, when David sends for him to try and cover up what he has done.
The last 4 months we have seen this kind of sin, that men had thought they did in secret , being revealed at an astounding rate.

David starts off taking what he wanted and tried to cover it up , with what I am sure he thought was a good remedy. Sex sin, is at the top of God's hate list , we only have to read about Sodom and Gomorrah to know this.
This story shows us why Jesus tells us, Matthew 6:34 take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Why Jesus tells us , 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Why Jesus tells us , if we can obey the first command the rest is easy, Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.

David falls into a snowball effect of sin , from one sin. Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
This one act of taking something that looked beautiful , can be seen in the Garden and we are still living in the aftermath of that.
We can love God like David, we can one minute take down a giant with the faith of the Lord and the next be seen in 2 Samuel 11. We can be no different than Saul , how did God describe Saul? Read 1 Samuel 8.

When David's first plan of deceit did not work , he sent loyal Uriah , to be be killed by the hands of the enemy, when in fact his hands might as well have killed him. Verse 26 When the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband. 27 And when her mourning was over, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord .

To ever think as a child of God we can hide anything, is a trick from satan that started in the Garden with Eve.
David faced many men in battle, but under estimated the real enemy, we all do. David wore Ephesians 6, as a shepherd in that field. David wore Ephesians 6 , against Goliath. He stopped wearing it at home , in comfort with all he could want or need. We do not want to be David in this story . The next chapter will tells us why Jesus trained his Apostles , to have nothing of this world and let God provide daily...
We can rationalize as David did and think what we have done is OK. Never leave the Manual , God left us to get through this world of offers from satan. We are in the same war David was in...

Dear Heavenly Father , we lift this request up to You , we ask Your will in all matters , may this cancer be cured and never return , may it only be stage 1 or even wrong diagnosis, may the enemy have no power and we give You the Glory in Jesus name amen

Dear Heavenly Father , we thank You for what You have done and will do in Tigers circle of life , we thank You for Don and how he gave to those children , we ask for Your hedge of protection in this matter and the enemy have no power, help Tiger see what You may be saying, in stay home , help her see and find You in each fiery trial , we ask this coming week for some calm waters and the engine light not come on again and will not cost any money, that You will fix as Tiger sees why warning lights and cars are a constant message in her life in Jesus name we pray amen

Dear Heavenly Father , we call on Your Mighty hands to take away this addiction this very day, we ask healing of the body , soul and Spirit , this very day , help Kerwin fill that broken heart with what You have to offer, help him over come this hurt , help him find comfort in Your Scriptures daily , help him each morning before his feet hit the floor to declare the enemy has no power that You are his Heavenly Father , Jesus is his Savior and the Holy Spirit is his guide , help him read the story of King David and know we are in the same war and only what You give us in Ephesians 6 gets us through the day in Jesus Holy Name we pray amen

Prayers and love for you and your away time

Routines is something we all have. They had them in Scriptures and we have them as well. Many of us say do not talk to me till my first cup of coffee...
When there is a recurring theme in anything being disrupted , by things we have no control over , I stop and look to the One that has control.
Things like Harvey , fires , shootings and exposure to sin that takes away life long careers, are just a few things that have disrupted routines, since Aug 2017.
It was after Harvey the Lord placed on my heart , tell everyone to stop , take an entire day and fall on Your knees and turn to me. No one wanted to do this , as we where all in recovery mode, trying to save walls and stuff.

The flu and icy storms have disputed churches this week . Many churches today have routines that have been altered because of these two things, we have no control over. Many can not get out due to snow and ice others closed today for the flu.

We only have two ways to see this life, on God's threshing floor called earth. His way or satan's , we have made it about many other things, but that is a trick of the enemy.

Isaiah 66
Thus says the Lord :
1“Heaven is My throne,
And earth is My footstool.
Where is the house that you will build Me?
And where is the place of My rest?
2For all those things My hand has made,
And all those things exist,”
Says the Lord .
Matthew 4:
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”
We know since 2015 when humans used by satan , changed God's law about Marriage in America ,the church has been splitting. Church as we have it, can not be found in Scriptures. They had it together as a community and in homes. They gathered as One...

Today, as many have to stay home because of routines being broken , do you know how to have church outside that routine the world set up? I was blessed as child to have a friend in the 6th and 7th grades that had church at home every night before bed time. She was treated bad on Monday in school by kids that went to those buildings on Sunday. That made such an impact on my life and God allowed me to see church starts at home...
It is not about a building of a meeting place , it is not about cliques of denominations divided in God's word. It is about 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

It is about , Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
So if you are home today because of things you have no control over be and have church....

We got 8 inches of new snow last night. We are not going anywhere, to say the least.It took me a while just to clean off my back stairs to take Sheba out. The snow is very heavy. Sheba and I trudged through the snow to get to the back gate so we could get to the alley for her to do her business. I opened the gate and was greeted by a 2ft wall of snow. We did not make it any further.:(

I do believe God is telling me to stay home. I do not know why, but I guess I am supposed to. I have been running ragged, being everyone's taxi, and now am forced to take a break.

I preach to myself one of the things I was convicted of was dressing for that building and not for God , so if your home today dress for God not people...


Another was , I use to be a good dancer and even been in the spot light at a rock n roll concert, have you ever danced for the Lord...




The other part of church at home , is if we should the same with those in the home as we do in those groups. This has been hardest for me. To be one thing in public and another at home is living a lie. Huntingtons the cruelest disease on the planet , has challenged me in this. Maybe you face something different , so ask God for help to be church today in home and out...

I am currently experiencing a financial crisis. I just hope someone would pray for me knowing that there is more power in prayer and in numbers. I am desperate to have a personal issue resolved but I knew I was at fault because I did not ask for God’s guidance and now I am left with the consequences. I know there are other people in need of prayer than me. I hope that you could include me in your prayers as I pray for everyone as well. Thank you and God bless.

Thankful to have found this thread- pinning it on Sunday's is a great idea. There are so many out there in need of help in so many ways and this, the power of prayer is exactly what we/they, this world needs.

I offer this which I try to pray every day:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the many blessings which You have given us; Please be with us as we make our way as we cannot do this alone; Please forgive us our sins, grant us peace of mind and deliver us safely to our destinations; Please be with the young and elderly as they are the most vulnerable to predators and please protect them from predators; Please be with the leaders of the Nations of this world and help them to be prayerful in the decisions they make that affect us all; Please fill our hearts with the promise of Your salvation and present us with opportunities to learn patience without infringing on others. In Jesus' name Lord, Please hear our prayer when we say:

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, the power and glory, forever and ever. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Nothing is big big for God. All my finance messes was for the same reason. I am still living in the aftermath of most of those, but He helps us face what we created if we allow. One day this messed up world will be gone and we will not have to deal with the powers of satan. Until then we give it to Him...

And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you,” He is our Chief Financial Officer , we ask You help OP get through this and provide the daily needs, help us all learn from our mistakes and grow, help us give to You first and ask You first and then listen, everyday is a new day , help AC call on Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; daily and the enemy have no power in this as of today , we give You the Glory in Jesus name amen
