Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

When I saw someone in the news say all these storms are a natural occurrence and God has nothing to do with them , by heart broke. Jesus showed His disciples Who the winds and waves obey. One of the reasons we would not want to associate God with a storm is , first think we are good and second that storms are bad.
Long ago in the Garden humans started deciding what was good and bad. Jesus said He was not even good that only God is . Storms where to always remind us to not be as the people in the days of Noah.

God could have created a world without storms of thunder and lightening but He did not. Last night when the sound of thunder blasted me awake I took notice. We had thunder off and on all day but that thunder seemed angry and was very different than the rest.

We have taken the word good and allowed satan to turn it into a different meaning. If we can come to understand what Jesus meant , that He was not good, we can understand how good a storm is. “We can not comprehend .“ We would have never sent Jesus to the Cross… If you have been taught the opposite of Job 37, get alone and read those chapters. They knew the voice of God in Job and at the Cross, we have been lied to for a long time.

To say anything on earth is a natural occurrence or man made is to not understand “Acts 7:49 Heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool. “ To say God would not send a storm that we are good people ,is to not understand the whole story of Job…We can do good things but there is only One that is good…Until this earthly body dies we are being molded, to one day be in His presence. God’s school of molding , looks nothing like ours.

God is Great.

Nehemiah 8
1 And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded to Israel.
2 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
3 And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.
4 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:
6 And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground.
7 Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.
8 So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the Lord your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.


John 7
1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Juwry, because the Juws sought to kill him.

3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.

6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.
7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.
9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

Please pray for my dear friends husband Jon, just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Thank you and God bless you all!

Pray for the healing of Jon, or pray for the comfort of Jon before he goes?

May all in need get their prayers answered.

Dear Heavenly Father , we ask You be with this family and healing of body, soul and Spirit come and the enemy have no power in this , give the loved ones peace and comfort in Jesus name amen

I am so thankful people where praying for me when I was living as if God was not coming back. This week lets pray for all those that are off the path come to repentance.

Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.





I so wish all this life of vanity would stop, but God reminded me of me when I was not ready , so lets pray all that are on earth right now that are His get and be ready.

Prayers needed for my brother Kenny.
The chemo is literally killing him. He has lost more weight, all of his hair except for some fuzz is gone, cannot taste food, in pain, and very weak.It is affecting him all over, no feeling in his hands, hearing loss,short of breath,etc. He cannot even stand for a few minutes to clean his colostomy bag. He is supposed to have 6 more weeks of the chemo.The surgeon had told him only 2 weeks of chemo after the surgery, but the oncologist has Kenny getting 6 months of heavy duty chemo. I told Kenny he needs to tell the doctor no more chemo. I guess the last time he saw the oncologist, the oncologist told him some of the side effects from the chemo may be permanent.
Kenny is so weak and sick, that he didn't go to church this morning. This is the first time in 30 years that he has missed church.
My brother was the picture of health less than a year ago, never got sick, never smoked, never used drugs, ate good, worked out every morning at the community fitness center, played on a baseball team, played tennis, etc. Totally fit and trim like a 20 year old. Now, he looks and feels horrible, to say the least.

Dear Heavenly Father we lift up Kenny and ask for Your will as we ask for healing of body, soul and Spirit we ask You be with Tiger and all the loved ones , we ask the enemy have no power in this and the Dr stops the chemo and Kenny does not need anymore in Jesus name amen



Sometimes I fear insurance and money play a roll in what is done...

My prayers go out for Kenny.. And OP do not fear, you walk in the light and never hesitate to avoid the shadow you leave behind. There is nothing to fear in the light.

So sorry to hear that. It sounds like the chemo is too much for him all at once. Maybe call the doctor and see if they can break it up?!
