Anonymous Coward User ID: 75682040 United States 04/03/2019 04:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I posted a thread a few days ago about my son. Unfortunately, lost of trolls and it died quickly. My son was sentenced for a crime last Thursday. We thought he would get probation, but he didn't. He got 2-5 years in state prison. He had gotten lots of help for depression, anxiety and alcohol addiction for the past 9 months. He also found God in a big way. Sometimes, you have to hit rock bottom and then it's only you and God. As a mom, I'm devastated. I'm so proud of him and the personal responsibility he took in his actions. He kept beating himself up over what he did and would cry about it. In an odd kind of way, I feel like prison will help him in making him feel like he paid his due to society and then he can move on with his life. I on the other hand am feeling horrible. I'm sad all of the time. I get down really easily. I was never like this before. I know it's early on, but I just feel like my son was ripped away from me. We were in the court room and they put cuffs on him and led him away. I never got to say goodbye. He'll be taken 3 hours away from home. I can't work. I'm trying, but I can't concentrate on work. I just need some prayers to help me deal with the day to day stuff...until he comes home. And please pray for him (Johnny) that he stays safe and close to God while he's in there. Thank you. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77493815 United States 04/04/2019 07:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ephesians4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. A small but very power book is found in Ephesians. Business people were not happy in Ephesus with the teaching of the Scriptures, it harmed their finances. If you have not read this book in a while it is very relevant for this very moment in time. We are given different gifts and those gifts in each place ,like Ephesus were for One purpose and were to never be divided as we are even in the smallest of places. Look what happened when Paul was traveling we only have to drive to any Ephesus to see we stopped listening to Paul long ago. “Acts 19:5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. 7 And all the men were about twelve.” Jesus has twelve , Paul had twelve that he baptized in Ephesus. We should be able to go to any place that worships the Lord and find at least twelve building blocks that are One in Christ. “Revelation 2:Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks.” “The Angel of the Church,” The CHURCH there was only ever One Church. Long ago even in Paul's time “the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, “ took hold. Every man made denomination should have never happened. Ephesus was a large place yet Jesus calls them “the church.” The Lord has me sitting out of man made church right now. It was hard at first and looks very wrong to many. I am called to go to “the church,” of where I live. Until where I live worships together as One , with no man made name on it , I wait. We live in a country we could have done wonderful things for the Lord. We could have built one building and twelve people could have helped fulfill “Ephesians 4:11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” Instead we are all divided even in the smallest of places doing our own thing and teaching generation after generation our ways and not the Lords. God help us... Church became the business of men , owned and run by men and divided. satan is very powerful and knows what would happen if we followed even a small book like Ephesians as One . Where each of us lives should be One church. Our children will all go to one building to learn about the world today together. Sunday they will all be divided , God forgive us. God says the blind are leading the blind. Read Ephesians today ... Look where you live will the children for the worlds way of teaching in public schools , for work or business and on Sunday be divided. That was never of God and for us to think it is OK for to do such , we truly are blind... |

We do not go to a person of other religion and ask God to heal through those hands. We do not earn or store money from a place owned by another religion and ask God to bless. We are in a time few know who they work for much less who own their bank. These things were and are important. Jesus did not go to the Cross for such |

Hello folks, the wife is showing signs of improvement, not a lot, but some. Looks like it will be a long haul. But i think we turned the corner and are heading the right way. Her lungs are full of mucus, but it's starting to come up. It is very hard to watch someone you love go through something like this. Hard to see anyone for that matter. As long as there are no set backs, it's looking better. My wife and I, thank you for the prayers. Boy was I scared, big time, still am a little. |
