Love and prayers for all, fast and sudden are the words of late

Following Kenneth’s disappearance, vigils were held across Eastern Kentucky to show support for the boy’s family. Hundreds gathered to lift each other with prayer and song, hoping for the boy's safe return, WKYT reported. Pastors at one vigil urged gatherers to pray for Kenneth every hour on the hour until he was found, the outlet reported.

"If there's one miracle from God left out there, just please let it be for him,” WKYT quoted one attendee as saying.

11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the Lord. 12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the Lord. 13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err. 14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. 15 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land. 16 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.

Our hearts should be broken right now but the world says take a pill. Our hearts should be broken right now but the world says take a vacation. Not sure we know how to have a broken heart for the Lord in our culture of feel good. They were scattered we are scattered.

“Jeremiah 23: 3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. “
God knows where His remnant are every generation. God is done in this chapter and we see Jesus is coming. Man was to never follow man...The prophets were walking in lies , read the news today. Jeremiah was bringing a message not popular. This chapter shows no one ever wants to go against someone God has chosen and often the message is one we do not want to hear. We are all about peace and love as they were but Jesus explains that will not happen on earth. Our peace comes in the middle of the war knowing of the Promise found in Jesus.
A true prophet like John the Baptist will always preach repentance.
“Jeremiah 23: 30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.”
A false prophet always twist God's words to make bad things look good. God today can been seen gathering His remnant. Jesus told us the days of Noah would come and not to be Lot's wife in Sodom.
We were to never “strengthen also the hands of evildoers.”
“Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Our children hate the week of testing at the end of the school year. They have to spend hours doing nothing while others finish. To think The Lord would ever have His children sit 8 hours in a place He is not allowed , is to be found in Jeremiah 23...We could never have both, we could never walk the fence, they could not and we should not. If any think we do not need to repent then read Joshua 24, Jeremiah 23 and “Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
If any think we are not sinners then please let me meet you. False prophets where abound and Jesus tells us will get worse, know the difference.
