Peter is our example of how one minute we are defending Jesus and the next we can deny Him. Jesus was standing with Him in physical form in verse 10 ,easy to be brave, right? Jesus had been arrested in verse 25. It was not till the Holy Spirit came that Peter was able to finish his life as He did.

“1 Thessalonians 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us His holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Ephesians 6:12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “


We deny Jesus everyday we do war against flesh...Jesus healed Malchus ear because the war was not against flesh.

Prayers said for all, for Healing, and Wisdom.

Please pray for my friend Lyle. I believe he is demon possessed, or else just very mentally ill. He is a very sad, lost, person..but also a touch of the insane. He is 44. Always says he doesn’t know what to say to people, what to do about life. One time he told me his thoughts were very violent. But he has gentle sweet side. Very strange person. Please pray that he is healed...and that our relationship/friendship won’t be as intense..I need my life back. He’s a black hole and doesn’t know it. The lonliest person you could meet..no family or friends.

Again, please 🙏🏻🙏🏻 please pray that demons are cast out of him. He has been strange since very young.

Praying for complete healing for Lyle. You are a very caring friend.

Praying for all this morning that the Father will protect you and keep you in the palm of His hands.

Praying for the Holy Spirit to intervene in this situation.

Habakkuk2 : 8Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.

Habakkuk 3:17Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

There is a pattern in the Bible, like the great city of Nineveh that repented and then fell. People turn to God then turn away is the repeated pattern over and over. Habakkuk is told to wait and have faith no matter what he sees. The prayer in chapter 3 reminds us where joy ,strength and salvation comes from.
“Luke 8: 52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. 53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. 54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. 55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.”

Today I got hurt trying to save a kitten and was reminded this place is full of pain and suffering even in an act of love. The Cross reminds us daily of that. I have a dog with cancer , a husband with Huntington's , a mom in rehab for a broken hip and just lost my younger brother to a heart attack. All of that and much more is nothing to what Habakkuk and all those in Scriptures saw , heard or felt.
Those are wonderful words in the prayer of Habakkuk.

All Jesus did and showed people before the Cross was to remind us where our joy , strength and Salvation comes from. There are many woes spoken of in Habakkuk and Jesus told us the woes will only get worse. Jesus showed them in Luke 8 that had faith enough to stay in the room , Who holds life, joy , strength and Salvation in His hands. Those outside that room has no faith.

Look at Habakkuk's prayer today , the world sells faith in the world , joy and strength in and of the world . Habakkuk is found rejoicing in no blossoms, no fruit , no olives and no meat because he knew where his joy, strength and salvation would come from. Habakkuk knew and saw a nation fall that thought this life was about this life.
Read Habakkuk today and see what caused the woes , understand why only “Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden,” were allowed I in the room in Luke 8.

Faith was always built in woes as with Habakkuk or in death as in Luke. All the teaching ,healing and bringing back the dead to life that Jesus did , was to show us not to be a people that forgets this world is only a class room for the next.
“Habakkuk 3:16When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops. “

How do we find rest in a day of trouble , the same way Habakkuk did , faith in the Lord...When we seek that rest in and from the world we will end up in Nineveh or not in the room in Luke 8. satan has sold us rejoicing in Nineveh. satan has sold us joy in Sodom. satan has sold us strength in the world , but he did this every generation. satan's job was to offer us his kingdoms , his joy , his strength. Our job with the Word and faith was to keep each other away from those things. Instead we taught we can do both. That did not work out in the past and will not in the future.

When I married I was all about joy in the world. I sought my joy and strength in people , places and things. That is what the people in Nineveh did. My true faith came in my brothers suffering , my husbands disease and cancer in a dog. This was not and will never be a popular message in a world satan offers his joy and strength...satan has whispered the Cross did away with woes ,when Jesus told us where to turn in them. satan has always been and said the opposite of our Lord. satan wanted us to seek the world for answers , joy and strength and he was always good at his job that God gave him.
“James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?”


“The poor of this world ,”has a whole new meaning for me today. When we become less world we become rich in faith. When we look less to the world for joy and strength we become rich in faith. Can we have both? King Solomon says no and Jesus shows how hard that is over and over. If you have never ask the Lord to be less world and more of Him , do it and become a Habakkuk in time of trouble.
He was in a time of trouble and we are in a time trouble but satan whispers no we are not . Trouble will not end until Jesus returns.



Peter shows us over and over from the boat to the Cross we become weakest in faith in a time of trouble...

God is great.

I have said many times I am so grateful I live in a time I do not have to kill anything as they did before the Cross. We have no recording where Jesus or His followers doing any sacrifices or offerings , Jesus was both. He did away with that business, offerings and sacrifices changed. Jesus left no rules on this it all became about he heart. He showed us how meaningless they had become.


“2 Corinthians 9: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. “

The church has done evil things with tithes and offerings , that have nothing to do with Jesus. This is a short list of what I have seen done in churches that created their own rules.

Auctions done in the sanctuary to raise money for a building.
Asking all the women to give up their wedding rings.
Making people wave their offering in the air for all to see.
Making people get out of their seats and march up front for all to see.
Pass the offering plate 4 times in one service.

That is what I have seen in Texas alone. In each of those cases the church was in trouble to pay its bills for a building or pay a persons salary . Maybe that is why Jesus loved an open field or a boat.

Peter is our example of many things.
“Matthew 17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.”

“Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”

If we listen to the world it, says build buildings , if we listen to Jesus He said build body, souls and Spirits. He showed us many times it was always those streets , boat trips and fields where that happened. Jesus is very clear before He returns there will be no pretty man made buildings. He will have to bring us out of them to find true faith.

“Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.”

We have lived under lies of humans so long ,we did not know they were lies. “And parted them to all men, as every man had need,” Jesus never went to the Cross for one man to live in a mansion and eat good everyday, while those under him, hunger and look for food in garbage dumps and live in a shack. Jesus did not go to the Cross for a temple made by mans hands , that is very clear.
He is showing us many things and how the church got it wrong is the biggest. To ever think we were to build some nice building to meet once or twice a week while someone in our community has nothing is to not understand the Cross or Acts 2... To ever think we were to build some nice home for 1 person to live in while the congregation has those hungry and live in a shack is a lie , but lies were always things that look good but are not.

Lord help us get this right before You return , is the prayer we all need to be praying. Jesus went to that Cross for us to live Acts 2 each generation but He worried He would even find faith when He returned. Yes Lord help us get this right.

I saw this year a Pastor was called to let the congregation take the offering of those in need , but that was always why Jesus went to the Cross.

Dear Heavenly Father , we pray Lyle will have those in his life willing to fast and pray , then call on the name Of Jesus that the darkness be gone and not return or touch another person , we ask Your Light fill the sweet side and overcome any evil and we give You the glory in Jesus name amen.



He needs to get rid of anything evil can attach to , books , music , games ect and have strong faith people fast and pray over him.
