While praying this morning God reminded me that faith is the opposite of fear. So, I just wanted to pass it on, in light of all that is going on right now.

2Timothy 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 

Joshua 1:9  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. 

Isaiah 41:10  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Folks try to nitpick at the supposed lack of the words / phrases like "be brave" - "be courageous" - "be bold" etc...that Jesus doesn't use.

Instead, He warns them that they will be hated, and Jesus also tells them to "fear not" / "be not afraid".

Jesus also told them that He, the Father AND the Holy Spirit would be "with them" in the days ahead.

Why did Jesus admonish the Apostles about "Faith" after He calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee? What was the lesson He was trying to teach?

Wasn't Stephen brave / bold right up until he breathed his last breath?

Paul said to "be strong" and bold.

I am here. Went and topped off the preps and got back earlier this afternoon, before the press conference.

Thread: My mom just passed. Sudden respiratory failure. She was in a care center.

Good morning loved ones, Psalm 49 is to be understood right now. My heart hurts as I see people in my community just getting back from cruises and thinking in 2 weeks all will be back to normal. I now know people that are getting sick and could not be tested yet. Do not listen to anyone that is not on the ground trying to navigate this business. We are in harvest time so no matter what the days hold make sure Matthew 6:20 is all you are concerned about...Love y'all God is watching and Jesus fed thousands with very little, trust in Him...

Oh Holy Father, Lord God Almighty - we thank Thee for leaving on record the story of Thine ancient people. It is full of instruction to ourselves. Help us to take its warning to avoid the faults into which they fell! Thou art a covenant God and Thou keepest Thy promises and Thy Word never faileth.
