Re: where can you buy a decent vacuum?
If you can afford it, buy a Dyson. Best damn vacuum I've ever had. I bought the 'purple' (top of the line) model because I have two dogs. This machine sucks the livin daylights out of dog hair! It comes with all the attachments, which if bought separatly, would cost ya an arm and leg. I bought the only attachment that didnt come with the purple one and it was $30, so I can just imagine the price for the powered beater head upholstery attachment that came with mine.

I happened to get my Dyson on sale, plus my brother-in-law works for HHGregg so I also got the employee discount. The original price was $599, $499 on sale, plus 10% off = one hell of a deal for a great vacuum with all the attachments!

Dyson is a really good one but the next best is probably a Kirby...I had one for 25 years and it was still working.
