BREAKING: Pentagon Says 2 US Navy Crews in Iranian Custody

It would be interesting to know how this came about.

What were they doing that they got caught?

Why did they just surrender?

Why not put up a fight?

Apparently one of the 2 small boats broke down and drifted into Iranian waters. The 2nd boat went along as a safety measure.

From Pentagon:

"We subsequently have been in communication with Iranian authorities, who have informed us of the safety and well-being of our personnel.

"We have received assurances the sailors will promptly be allowed to continue their journey."

One would certainly hope so, in view of the US giving them 1.5 billion dollars and kissing their asses. Of course you never know; they still have some American prisoners (that Obama did not try to get back)
