Wow was thinking about this the other day when I read that new theory to support the EM drive. Seems to me that light travels in a straight direction from point A to point B but in between those points are an infinite number of points that then initiate another "ray" of light spherically from that point.

So, if you could begin to bend the paths or trajectories of each ray of light towards the final destination of point B, you would have the original ray of light and then the light that would also have been emitted radially at each point between A and B. I think this is really what the EM drive does, and it somehow works to alter or change an aggregate mass or body's inertia.

Altering the inertia is what you're after, to bring it's inertia to zero so you can easily propel the object in any direction with a minimal amount of energy.

This is not surprising.
