Factual Error User ID: 38072737 United States 05/17/2016 01:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Reminds me of a guy I used to know. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor and died in the mid 1990s. I went to his funeral and there were about 5 guys from his Pearl Harbor survivor group at the service in their uniforms, all in their 70s at least. I wondered how long before there would be only one left to attend the service. Not intended to be a factual statement. |

They all did their duty and I know several of them feel people now days do not appreciate their sacrifices. Go on, some of you creeps will say bad things, but remember, you are allowed to say whatever you want because of them. |

He was a WWII vet also. He stormed the beach on D-Day under General Eisenhower . My grandpa was everything to me . Those men were the greatest generation . |
