The LIBERTARIAN PARTY AND TRUMP calls for an end to gun free zones! Politicians who voted for gun free zones are culpable for killings.

LINK: The Libertarian Party is the only political party calling for sensible, serious policy change that would reduce the frequency of mass shootings as well as minimize the damage they do.

Virtually all mass shootings happen in “gun-free” zones. Regardless of the ideology of the shooter or the type of weapons used, the common link is that the event occurs where responsible gun owners are prohibited from carrying arms for self-defense.

•The Pulse nightclub was a “gun-free” zone.


•The Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California was a “gun-free” zone.


•The Bataclan nightclub in Paris was a “gun-free” zone.


•The schools in Newtown, Connecticut and Columbine, Colorado were “gun-free” zones.


•Fort Hood was a “gun-free” zone.

Politicians who voted to make the Orlando establishment a gun free zone, where Omar Mateen massacred 50+ innocent individuals, are as culpable as Mateen.

Mateen knew the Orlando club was in a gun free zone; therefore, he knew those at the club would have no way to defend themselves.

Instead of talking about taking our guns away, they should be voting to abolish gun free zones. If only one person had been allowed to carry and conceal, lives could have been saved.


LINK: Missing in all the media frenzy over the horrific murder of 49 patrons at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, early Sunday morning was any mention of this, from Florida’s concealed weapons statute, Title XLVI, Chapter 790, Section (12)(a):

A license issued under this section does not authorize any person to openly carry a handgun or carry a concealed weapon or firearm into any portion of an establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises.

In other words, politicians who voted to guarantee that those patrons would have little opportunity to defend themselves against Omar Mateen’s attack on Sunday are as culpable in that outrage as the radicalized Muslim.

Instead the media busied itself with all manner of irrelevant or agenda-driven commentary into Mateen’s background: how he obtained his weaponry, why the FBI or its NICS checklist didn't pick him up earlier, the type of weaponry (was it an “assault” weapon or a semi-automatic rifle), how the survivors managed to escape, the supposed need for stronger gun laws, etc
