Airport cab driver here, with a high-security airbase other side of the field. There is a driver who kept, or maybe still keeps, a toy or toys in the back to entertain young passengers. He had a large stuffed clown in the back while taking a person around the field from the commercial airport to the base. Apparently, the clown startled the guard who was inspecting the cab at the gate.

Afterward as I was doing the same, the guard asked me if I had any items to declare beforehand, such as the usual contraband or "clowns". I laughed, he replied "they can be scary in the dark." I replied no sir. Dropped my passenger at billeting, which is near a barn outside the base, picked up my license at the gate, and with a wink said that I think I saw that clown run around behind the barn. Is a clown costume really enough now to justify murder. WHY SO SERIOUS?

I'm also the guy that would ask a new guard running the mirror under the cab to please check for leaks. DILLIGAF?
