Ontario court to consider application to stop Cleveland from wearing ‘offensive’ baseball jerseys in Toronto
TORONTO — A prominent indigenous activist and architect is seeking a court ruling that would prevent the Cleveland Indians from wearing their regular jerseys, using their team name and displaying their logo when they play against the Blue Jays in Toronto this week.

Douglas Cardinal, an officer of the Order of Canada, has filed applications to the Ontario Superior Court, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Canadian Human Rights Commission, arguing that the Cleveland Indians’ team name and mascot — Chief Wahoo, a cartoon man with red skin and a feather in his headband — are offensive and discriminatory.

That little girl from Salt Lake City. Two quart legs and two rubber titties. Loves electricity, but she burns off gas. Got a V8 pussy and a Cadillac ass.

the court doesnt have the jurisdiction to make something like that illegal. all it can make illegal is the sale of such things.

someone needs to remind the courts their role.

As a Commonwealth Nation they should be playing Cricket NOT Baseball ... though I am sure the insects would object to them using the name "Cricket" as a name for a sport.

Time to tell the Canadians to go back to their roots ... and stop trying to copy the Americans!!

No wonder the DHS and Customs now has agents everywhere along the Canadian Border, hundreds along the Great Lakes alone now!!

(when I was growing up there were virtually NONE - 1 guy in Cleveland was all there was for the entire Lake Erie coastline, and he usually didn't even drive over to meet the cross lake ferry when it came in daily from Canada to Sandusky OH - too far of a drive out from Cleveland, he just had the ferry company have everybody fill out their Customs Forms)

Wish somebody would post that logo. I love those big teeth...Don't know when the Indians adopted the Injun logo; I would guess 30's or 40's. It's much worse than the Redskins...
