Anonymous Coward User ID: 74366208 Ecuador 03/12/2017 06:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Ohio Blizzard of '78 was much worse. I got stuck in it on the loop outside of Columbus. Overnight temperatures plunged. I was trapped in my '76 Ford Maverick with only cold weather gear. The following morning...there was 3 feet of snow on top of the car. I climbed out and stood on top. It was drifty in places...but for the most part...it was a good 7-8 feet of snow that had fallen. At noon...a snow plow...followed by dozens of cars passed me and I was able to fall in...last in line. |

The wind packed the snow like concrete. |
