1984 Selling out because of Trump?
So this chick who I have had many heated consversations with over the last year decided to share this on Facebook. Yes I have Facebook. I know the risks. I have an online business and part of an offroad club so apparently I need it.

Anyway, long story short, what she shared was basically saying that 1984 has sold out because people want to read it now that Trump is President.

I am beginning to hate these people. And I hate that I feel this way.

I have always considered myself a free thinker. Objective. I like "conspiracy theories" because it challenges my brain. I like questions.

A Trump vs. Hillary election was a dream come true in terms of showing people that THIS is evidence of what is broken.

But this b@#$h, who thinks she is smarter than me shares 1984 selling out as proof of the "thought police", the surveillance state and thinks TRUMP is responsible? I didnt even lean Trump until Liberals and the controlled media showed their true colors early on in the campaign. And everyone conveniently forgot Clintons history.

Geezus, my tongue has nearly fallen off. I cant take it. And I literally hate how these people suddenly think they have it all figured out. BARF.

I dont like judging people. But damn she is stupid. I would love to say it to her face. But she is in my club. So i remain silent out of fear. Remind you of 1984? Ugh.

I guess I am mostly upset because now she (they?) is trying to steal my awakeness with fake awakeness 😂 Yet total silence for years when I was trying to inform them about 911, Fukushima, GMOs, the bees, Ebola, Google tracking, etc. Give me a break.

You are wrong. The entire global surveillance state that has been in operation for 16 years is clearly all Trumps fault.

Its amazing what you can do in just one week of Office.

I am not siding with the gov. Just making an observation of the irony. It makes me sad and angry.

I didnt mean for my last comment to sound like I disagree with you because I understand your point. But I dont think any of us should presume to know what the next 4 years will entail....but you can be sure we will know and understand "why" because many of us are here to understand things to a degree further than most.

Re: 1984 Selling out because of Trump?
Follow it up with Animal Farm, for maximum benefit.
When the uneducated hold the same vote value as the educated, we are on the verge of Idiocracy.

Plato said it long ago, Democracy is inherently flawed, as all opinions are not equal.

Let them identify with Napoleon and his "more equal" stance.

Don't stop there, move on to Vonnegut.
Fahrenheit 451 and Slaughter House 5 are required reading to join the next level of discussions.

Fucking children, all of them.
