I never did understand why men get on dating sites.

I did not understand it in 1995, and I do not understand it to this day.

When the internet emerged, it was like the entire world just went and jumped off the deep end of the abyss.

I watched them do it. I watched friends do it. I watched family members do it.

In a very real way in my life, 1995 was the last year of existence. Since that time, we've been in someone else's computer program hell.

I never wanted any part of it. I never asked for it. I never understood it and never will.

The only thing I know now is that it needs to be nuked from the inside out.

In 1999 small town parking lots and people driving up and down "main street" were packed full of people on the weekends just hanging out..dwindled down every year...zero people since 2004...ever since.

Strange how that happened.

I could have written this post.

It still seems weird to drive through town on a Friday or Saturday night and not see a single person or car driving anywhere. It's been like this for at least 10 years... completely dead.
