When I'm at home alone, I want to enjoy some silence but I never get any. there are always cars speeding around the neighborhood with loud engines, planes flying overhead, literally 24/7. It didn't used to be this way. I'm forced to put on my sound proof headphones if I want at least 10 minutes of silence. Is it like that everywhere?
I know it sounds stupid but It drives me insane. I wish I lived in the mountains.
