Now I am a hardcore guitar fan...Impellitteri, Michael Angelo Batio, Vinnie Moore, George Lynch, Tony McAlpine, etc....but, I have to admit...the best guitar player may be this young chick from France!

We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be:
The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence.
Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty.
The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires
We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE

I am laughing my ass off! I am of French-Canadian lineage. I NEVER - NEVER would have thought I would see an awesome metal guitarist from the land of fags (the French from Canada and America see the "natives" as the surrender monkeys...the North Americans...they will go to war with you! (I have one uncle who did 52 flights over Germany...another did 36)

BUT!!! To see such a young girl...a metalhead...and French...

Vive La France - LOL!

There are tons of Japanese kids who practice eight hours a day and play the same.

It is impressive to watch but at this point basically a useless skill other than being able to show off. Malmsteen, Vai, Satriani....I mean how many times can you hear someone sweep pick and play fast, it has all been done.

I tend to agree with you. She can play some good power chords and solos, but doesn't really break any new ground despite the fact that she is clearly capable of doing so.

For now it is no heart, no soul. Just a bunch of fretboard patterns to follow like paint by numbers.

There just as many Japaneese kids who do this all over the interwebs. There's literally a BILLION people who can do what she does. Just go back to YouTube.

DONT COPY OTHER GREAT SONGWRITERS MUSIC.
WRITE YOUR OWN DAMN MUSIC.
THEN YOU WILL GET YOUR DESERVED PROPS.
UNTIL THEN, NOT A BIG FUCKIN DEAL.

Thanks, OP.

Worth a look.

She kicks ass.

But the real test is in original material... for only there is any real creativity tested, proven and demonstrated.

Once anyone has done anything,

capable kids can pick it up quickest and easily.

Only if your own riffs.
