They have a small CBP detachment. I guess for international fancy pants private jets. I think it's the most popular general aviation airport for the NY/NJ area. Hop skip jump to the city. My ex used to work next door at Dassault Falconjet

The whole area is a chemical dump site. I worked there for years.

had eerie premonition yesterday of plane going down in New York - or was it this morning - can't remember - but to be fair i was recalling the thread about mossad and mh370 and the year with the mmonth of adar in it so i probs just gave myself the eerie feeling

I live in new jersey, worked 10 minutes from the crash site today, and I'm an aircraft mechanic. Today was very windy so chances are it could have been crazy cross wind. If not i'd say it was pilot's error or an instrument issue.

Wow. My aircraft mechanic school is on that airport. Happened right next to my school it seems like. 2nd time this happened. Today was very windy but that shouldn't take down a plane. Everything coming in or landing there is mostly corporate jets. Not many props. Happened a few years ago. Ended up being a weight and balance issue and plane crashed into a building at the end of the runway. A lot of these planes landing and taking off are private jets. Trump lands there, UN, politicians, lots of big business. I've seen Nike and Coke. It's the largest (busiest) corporate airport in America.
