I listened to Maddow before anybody else did, way back when she only did a morning show on Air America Radio with another chick. But now I can't stand to listen to her bullshit and her delivery is so smug, so obnoxious.

i believe her and colbert and kimmel and the rest are getting ratings bumps, not because of libs tuning in, but from regular people who just want to see how nutso they are becoming.... its like slowing down to see if there is a body in the car involved in the accident....

She is funny when she's particularly excited by new information- you can tell she wants to jump out of her seat and shake people into understanding the nuances of her reporting. I also love her story about how she met her long time lover so many years ago. Instant love! Give Rachel a chance- she's passionate and irrepressible, a real journalist!
