Few things, one they used mice and rats to observe population growth.while they achieved the same results outcasts being defiant, and population decreased. These mammals are not truly conscious. does this happen with ants, mongoose, prairie dogs,?jave you seen the movies Beaches? Humans free will impacts the population in many factors.

The violence in the experiment is very similar to what happened to the inhabitants of Easter Island.

And the "beautiful ones" who groom and refuse to mate is something seen in some men in Japanese culture.

It's interesting. I'm confused though. They ALL died off?? Not even a few survivors to rebuild? I would sort of expect the population graph to go up and down continuously - not completely die off.

Question, did they increase the size of the structure? Even with 1000 under the predicted over population it caused stress on them to maintain stability. Clash of personalities and order play a factor. Example ants and bees all have a "job" to maintain stability in there colonies.


Ants live in colonies consisting of millions of individuals. They don’t have leaders. Although there is the queen ant, she doesn’t tell the other ants what to do. Every ant knows their own roles and carries out their tasks faithfully. They are able to work together effectively because they all have the same goal for the good and unity of the colony.
