There are those that say the oil companies won't allow it. TPTB are bigger than the oil companies and their agenda matters more than oil money.

Banning single family dwellings will come along as well. They want everyone in government apartment buildings crammed in cities and taking government transportation to the government mandated jobs so you can eat govt mandated food.

Eventually every aspect of your life will be controlled by TPTB (government).

Wow, what a nice goal but, how much extra fossil fuel does it take to create and power such vehicles? It's a down side now but, well... maybe in a few decades.
