1 Trillion Dollars In Damage For Florida From Irma?
I saw a headline Thurs/Fri that estimated the total damage to Florida alone would be 1 Trillion Dollars. I Googled it, and don't see the article now.

That said.....could it really climb that high??

Yet another excuse to raid the tax payers coffers. This is how they legally steal your money.

Yes it could reach a trillion. These big resorts will lose money too until things get fixed so insurance companies will pay up. Even people like me I just own a condo in Estero (southwest Florida) I might see a total loss since it's not hurricane proof. I will apply for any help I can get as I could not get hurricane insurance I didn't qualify. There are many others like me. It's going to be financial doom this year. The price of oranges are going to triple at least and that includes orange juice. Getting the grid back up, water fixed, buildings fixed, roads, beaches, landscaping, all while losing the tourism is going to be tough.
