The Real Message Behind the Hurricanes: KEEP THE SABBATH HOLY!!! Nahum 1:3

Those rabbis are idiots. They add to the Torah and the sabbath commandment.

His pure Written Word is so simple. For those who love Yah, His commands are not burdensome but an absolute delight.

Sabbath (Seventh Day of the Week)

This day was blessed and set apart by Elohim at creation (Ber. 2:2-3 / Gen_2:2-3). Later on it was instituted as the sign of the everlasting covenant between Elohim and His people, a sign that He sets them apart, an everlasting sign (Shem. 31:13-17 / Exo_31:13-17, Yeḥez. 20:12-20 / Eze_20:12-20). Sabbath-keeping is one of the Ten Words of the Covenant, standing forever, settled forever in heaven, founded forever (Teh. 89:34 / Psa_89:34, Teh. 111:8-9 / Psa_111:8-9, Teh. 119:89 / Psa_119:89). We would like to point out the following:

(1) יהושע kept the Sabbath (Luk_4:16, Yn. 15:10 / Joh_15:10), and the women who were taught by Him still kept it at the time of Messiah’s burial (Luk_23:56).

(2) Sha’ul kept it (Act_13:14, Act_13:42-44, Act_7:2, Act_18:4 & Act_18:11).

(3) Ludia and the women kept it (Act_16:13).

(4) In Heb_4:9 we are again reminded of the necessity of keeping the Sabbath!

(5) Finally: After the end-time judgment has come upon this earth (Yesh. 66), and a new heavens and a new earth is established, we read in Yesh. 66:23 Isa_66:23 that the Sabbath shall still be kept!

(6) Who then changed it to Sunday, in effect nullifying it? In Dan_7:25 we read of a horn, a sovereign (remember: in those days the gentiles regarded their sovereigns as deities). This one is often interpreted as being the Anti-Messiah, the enemy of the Chosen People. In Dan_7:25 we read that he would “intend to change appointed times (or, festivals) and law.” The RCC openly boast that they changed the Sabbath to Sunday. This change was preceded by Emperor Constantine legislating, in the year 321, that “the venerable day of the Sun” was to be kept as a day of rest. Remember: Constantine was a worshipper of Sol Invictus, the sun-deity. The “Church” soon followed suit, and in the year 336 (some give the date as 364), at the Council of Laodicea, Canon 29, the christians were commanded to observe the Sunday as well. Bishop Eusebius (270-338 CE), who worked with Constantine, admits to the Church’s decision to change from Sabbath to Sunday.

Our family has been in this position and all I have to say is pray. Pray for help to obey the commandment, and He will honour that prayer.

Your not positive about this. We should not deny this great sin in God's eyes though so I agree with what your relating to totally.

We have done this though for over 2000 years so you think that God waited for this long to make this happen???

That's not really how I would think God would think.

Although, Houston is the capital of human trafficking and abortion head quarters is there also. I'm more inclined to believe he allowed this to happen to wash THAT sin from them. Florida has issues they are ignoring too. Drugs, prostitution and gambling and all kinds of major sinful behavior was going on before this in Florida. The Keys is a big trafficking area. So I'm inclined to believe that is why he allowed it.

Now if Washington, California, Washington D.C., and New York get 'hit' with some catastrophe, then my intuition is right on the money. Judgement has come for them.

But, again, I've been saying this for all the time I've been on here---


We are committing a great sin in God's eyes by forsaking the commandment that we should keep the Sabbath Holy and remember it.

There is always time to turn around and correct ourselves. Too bad we are so deeply involved in it that people just ignore it.

Be sure and separate yourself from this entirely. It's lonely but at least you can make a stand by not 'following' along with all these sinful people that ignore scripture.

Thank you. Good post. Although I am positive about this. But, I agree, Yah sent the Hurricanes to rebuke us for not honoring shabbat as well as the other sins you mentioned. He can hit several birds with one stone.

The moral of the story is the hurricanes are a judgement meant to invoke teshuva.

The Sabbath is only a pixel in the bigger picture, but yes, we are to keep the Sabbath Holy per Commandment number four.

"The prince of the powers of the air"
is a title that refers to Satan/Lucifer, He is the power going around destroying towns with whirlwinds and leaving only Mary statues (fully intact)behind of him, Where people gather and break the 2nd commandment building a shrine to it

In which case neither was he justified by works of the law but BY FAITH

Your obedience to the letter of the law is disobedience to the new covenant if you think that your obedience to the letter will bring you blessings. For right along with those blessings comes far more curses for disobedience and that is an inescapable truth for those who fall away from faith - they make CHRIST of no effect - they have fallen from grace.

He does not give us his spirit to obey the letter. He gives us the spirit so that the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us who walk after the spirit not the letter.

Your obedience to the works of the law is not the basis of blessings.
Who has deceived you?
Do you even hear what the law says?

Hurricanes are unto coastal areas naturally and without any religious or personal part in it.
Near the sea? They will be known even unto land areas where no man is, they will lash it as well.
If a person wants tangible ceremonial performances then that individual is free to do that unto their own selves, not with others they perform it upon, or the others space or place.

These hurricanes are not a judgment from God because of sabbath-breaking. You who observe the day, do you lust, lie, hate, fail to love God with your whole being or fail to love your neighbor as yourself? You who observe the day, do you give your money to feed the poor and visit the orphans and widows? (Isaiah 58).

Hurricanes are natural calamities like earthquakes. They are the consequences of living in a fallen world. They are deadly reminders that unless a person repents they will also likewise perish, according to Jesus in Luke 13.

As to what you think is proper to do or not to do on the Sabbath which results in legalism and being judgmental, Jesus said, "It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath."

God established the seven day week. He said humans should observe the week by working on six days and not working on one. Thank God for the weekend! More than enough time to rest from our work week and making of money. I agree that it is good to observe evening and morning instead of from 12 to 12.

Just remember "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." Go and understand what that means.

Yes, the problem is we live in a forced diversity that is all accepting of diverse religions.
These diverse define good as they see good unto their own selves, doctrines and acceptance of it.
There can be no way opened for them to carry out their good as they see it according to their doctrine, way of seeing their doctrine to be taken, or desires for it to be taken out on others not them or theirs.
It has no place in the government of all the people, or any of the places the government regulates and controls.
