How many of the hotel rooms you've stayed in have been equipped with strobe lights? | |

Quoting: archery mom I've stayed in quite a few over the years and not a single one has been so equipped. So the whole 4th-floor-strobe-light thing, for me anyway, is just way out there. I made a whole thread about this and it just dwindled into the trash heap of posts pretty quickly. This strobe light thing seems to just be overlooked by everyone on this site for some reason. It’s midnight and there is a strobe light in a room. It’s bizarre. I was wondering if it was on the building? Seems pretty though for a blinking light though. The real question is WHO RENTED THE STROBE LIGHT ROOM!!! |

There were strobe lights associated with that, but they were all over, not just isolated in a single room. Quoting: archery mom Reminded me of a time when we conducted a fire drill at our manufacturing plant. Everyone evacuated except for one guy. We went back inside and tried to locate him. We finally found him in the bathroom. We found out he was hard of hearing. As engineering manager I had my maintenance guys install the strobe lights in the bathrooms. |

This board has been down this road and most reasonable people have accepted that it is not gunfire because it keeps blinking when there is no gunfire. So lets throw that narrative in the trash heap. Why is there a VERY BRIGHT strobe light in a room at midnight that seems to be of a design where it is only in one direction where , in this case , The direction is positioned so it blinks OUT the window? Who rented this room? Also, perhaps we shouldn’t call it a strobe light. When I think strobe light, I think of something that turns on and off WAY WAY faster then what we are witnessing. A strobe light is named a “strobe” light because it causes visual strobing effect. This light is more just a “blinking” light AND .... its big and powerful to be seen so distinctly THROUGH the gold tinted windows. I keep thinking this “blinking” light has some play in this whole thing. |
