Having spent the past few years considering just these kinds of questions, I'd have to say that the prognosis ain't great...

If we conclude that there's a higher order to what we call 'life' and 'reality', and I do, then it doesn't take too long to also conclude that whatever is running this show isn't what you'd call benevolent.

How did we get here? Did we just evolve from amoeba? Doesn't seem very likely, the more you think about it. So if we were created, as the Sumerians asserted, then whoever created us made sure to give us a pretty limited lifespan.

99.99999% of people are born, live and die with no concept of what life is really about, whether there's any purpose to it and how they figure in the grander scheme of things. We're born, we work to stay alive, and when we can no longer do that we die.

The system is set up such that there's no time to think about these things anyway.

What we do have, at this time more than any other in human history, is access to a wealth of information which has never been freely available before.

I'd like to think that I've used this opportunity to access information in order to address the questions posed by OP, but do I have all of the answers? Nope. Not even close. The knowledge gained is still limited by the ability to ask the RIGHT QUESTIONS.

It's been a journey into madness at times, truly.

But do I think that we die and are rewarded in heaven by some benevolent god? No, I do not. If the creator 'god' of this place was benevolent, we wouldn't even be here- where 90% of humans live on less than $2 a day. Slavery, war, disease, violence, famine, paedophilia, human sacrifice... the list goes on. Here in the West, we're the lucky ones.

Seems to me that it's the demiurge in charge of this reality, and the only way out that I've found is through Christ. Not entering 'the light' and knowing your rights when you're approached by the 'welcoming' archons (posing as trusted family members) in the afterlife.

There's something that you're not understanding, OP. We are all the same being. We're just different fingers on the same hand. Whatever I do to you, I do to myself and vice-versa.

The two polarities that are important for the coming harvest are the service to self ("negative") and the service to others ("positive") polarities. Most humans here are currently being evaluated for their respective affinities for one polarity or another. In fact, simply existing here makes an entity subject to the polarity evaluation. Even those of us who have been through this particular type of harvest before.

The time of The Harvest is right now. Yes, NOW. It is going on as we speak. Most humans alive today are not "ripe" for the harvest and must endure another cycle. Those that are ripe will either be taken in a positive harvest or a negative harvest. This determines their next set of objectives and where they will reside for the next cycle.

But remember that we are all one thing. We're the thing that wanted to know what something else would be like.
