Did God set a day in stone to commemorate His creation until heaven and earth pass?

Sabbath is in Gods 10 commandments.

Jesus said to keep the commandments.


His, not yours or your elders.

The sabbath was for commemorating Jehovah not the earth. The sabbath, tithing, stoning was all abolished by Jesus perputal ransom.

Strange, tithing or stoning is not mentioned in the 10 commandments written in stone.

The command sais God hallowed it because of His creation.

God has "unhallowed" it is the JW's teaching?


Again, how you can preach for creation, yet ignore Gods mark of His creation, is strange.

" However, before the faith arrived, we were being guarded under law, being delivered up together into custody, looking to the faith that was destined to be revealed. 24 Consequently the Law has become our tutor leading to Christ, that we might be declared righteous due to faith. 25 But now that the faith has arrived, we are no longer under a tutor." Strange the bible sais that sin is transgression of the law.

Yet JW's claim the law is gone.


Wonder why they need a Saviour then? No sin if no law.

Don't misunderstand, the principles of the 10 commandments are eternal but the Levitical law was temporary, a tutor leading to the new covenant which is why there is no temple, priesthood, animal sacrifices etc.

Lol no, technically DNA and RNA doesn't store information ditigtally like computers do (obviously) and can mutate and evolve over time, unlike computer codes. Dawkins was using computer codes in this video as an analogy to help people understand how DNA works without having to ring in all the high level math and chemistry that most people don't have. I forget the exact species and time this happened (I'll look it up after I finish this) but I remember a group of free plasmids becoming a virus from mutations (which is what many people call micro evolution). Hope this clears up a few misconceptions.

Untrue, the Italian wall lizard, when transferred from the island of Pod Kopiste to Pod Mrcanu had a rapid series of mutations that led to the growth of ceceal valves (a helpful organ) and slightly changed he'd shapes which help them eat plant matter, whhereas their ancestors on the previous island had different head shapes and ate insects. This was also a surprisingly fast rate of evolution in a relatively large organism, which usually take much longer for equally "small" changes.

Hmm... I'm suspect of Dawkins. He may be arguing in this way, in response to the growing islamization of the UK, in which he conceded "Christianity is good for the UK", so, might be justifying it to himself that it is for the greater good.
