My first big purchase was a recommendation from glp called digibyte. It went up 10% then tanked down to -100% and never recovered. Put a few hundred in litecoin. Wait until later this evening when the price drops a bit then buy it before bed. Sit for a few weeks, then expand out a bit to alt coins.


On an unrelated note, I have 2000 digibyte if anybody wants to buy it.

Well it's a Litecoin clone with its own mining algorithm specialised to counter centralisation, so they brand it as a people's coin.
They think BTC & LTC will run into problems with centralised mining.
