Here's the problem I've experienced with the Mediterranean diet. Where do I find enough clean fish locally?

Farmed salmon and tilapia are some of the most disgusting contaminated fish you can eat. Anything from the Pacific Ocean has to be avoided because of the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster ongoing. The 2010 Gulf of Mexico BP oil spill and consequent corexit spraying to sink all that oil to the bottom took out a whole other swath of seafood. Most waiters and waitresses or cooks have no idea where their fish products come from and don't care.

If clean fish was as readily available in the same quantity as I can find organic chicken and beef locally I would gladly increase fish and reduce poultry and occasional beef.
