The first time I watched a committee meeting for a particular small town someplace USA a few years, I nearly croaked. It went up to 19 bucks a bag, no biggie, but … it was out of stock for weeks. As soon as it came in I bought 6 bags. Then it was out of stock for another couple of weeks. Last week it came back in and I got 6 more bags at 19 bucks. Was shopping online tonight and those $19.96 bags of chicken were in stock tonight for TWENTY EIGHT DOLLARS'!!!!!! Kiddo isn’t teasing me any more. That’s a freaking huge price jump! If they aren’t going to starve us, they sure are gonna be sure we can’t afford to eat.
