Three people shot in dispute over dog poop in Yakima neighborhood

YAKIMA, Wash. - A dispute between neighbors over dog poop escalated into violence when one neighbor shot two others and then shot himself during a standoff with police, officials and witnesses said.

The incident unfolded Wednesday evening near 27th and Englewood Avenues in Yakima, when a 62-year-old man who lives in the area approached his neighbors and accused them of allowing their dog to defecate in his yard.

To get so upset over dog poop. I live on a large corner lot and people riding horses cut the corner of my lot and let their horses poop there. I wouldn't shoot them.
