Mollie Tibbits: WHO-TV video interview with CREEEPY 'hog farmer' Wayne Cheney | |
nutmeg User ID: 76388104 United States 08/02/2018 08:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So this guy, Wane Cheney, lives 15 minutes from where Mollie Tibbits was last seen alive. Quoting: Wharf Rat He has pled guilty for stalking twice, in 2009 and 2014. [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] Does he seem to be acting suspicious? Sure touches his face a lot, rubs his ears, adjusts his glasses... ....walks away....crosses his arms.... and cannot seem to recall anything said during a two-hour conversation at the fire station the day prior. Seems like our number one suspect, folks. Guilty until proven innocent, of course. WHO-TV interview with Wayne Cheney, the "pig farmer". Thank you! That guy does appear to be suspicious. Wharf Rat (OP) User ID: 76700435 United States 08/02/2018 09:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "The farmer was identified by WHO-DT as Wayne Cheney, a resident of Deep River. ... Cheney has entered guilty pleas for two instances of stalking – one in Poweshiek County in 2009 and another in Marion County in 2014." So that last stalking case....about 1000 days ago? Making him a repeat offender? Thing about this guy.... he seems SOOO defensive. And evasive. And obviously uncomfortable. And probably lying about not being about to remember "anything" he spoke about with the authorities at the fire station. Really? C'mon. Bottom line, we all hope Mollie Tibbits is okay. I definitely pray for that. ~Wharf Rat |

You're welcome, Nutmeg. Thanks for caring about Mollie. I've been following the case since the beginning. In fact, my daughter's husband's family lives 60 miles from there. They don't know the family personally, but they know one of Mollie's relatives. I have two girls, and my heart breaks for the parents. I don't know how parents live through this. I pinned a thread one minute before I saw yours. I apologize.... I posted your thread on it because of the weird guy's interview. Thanks again for that link. Everything about this story breaks my heart, nutmeg. For her whole family, but for the poor girl too. Whatever happened, the good news is that, potentially, we might just find her alive. That's what I hope for. Also, I added more details I read (re: red shirt) on the other thread, because it seems more generalized. This thread was because I couldn't believe this Wayne Cheney person has not been ID'd by the national media--- somebody might know something! There's still a chance she's alive, and maybe GLP can help. Worth a shot. ~Wharf Rat |

Quoting: Cold Beer And plenty of access to machinery to grind up any remains. Did you see the video of this guy? [link to dailymail.co.uk] His shirt has some kind of splatter on it, for sure. Even kind of looks like a blood-colored stain on (his) left shoulder. So.... they interrogated him for over 2 hours. Did they think about testing his nasty shirt for DNA? Just thinkin'. ~Wharf Rat |

Wharf Rat (OP) User ID: 76700435 United States 08/02/2018 10:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | he's a slimy lowlife for sure. Quoting: Cold Beer 2 convictions for stalking, a bloody shirt, evasive body language. access to disposal machinery. TV guy: What was the situation like for you here, and how they kind of approached everything? Wayne Cheney: [looking downward and away] Oh, I don't know, heh heh [smiles, and touches glasses] [scratches side of face] [keeps looking downward, begins to wave a hand at the camera] I don't know. We're wasting our time. [Begins to walk away] I'm done. TV: You said, the FBI took you down the fire station, right? Wayne Cheney: [walking away, touches hand to door handle] [turns around] No, it wasn't the FBI [begins to squint, gesticulate with right arm] They took me to the fire station, Tuesday. [Closes eyes, scratches under glasses with hand, rubs eyes] ...Questioned me, couple, for a couple hours they questioned me [still rubbing face and nose, squinting] TV: Just about, like, what you saw here, or actually like, where you've been, or...What was that, what kind of questions? Wayne Cheney: [still stracting under glasses] I don't even remember [nervous laughter] what they asked me. [crosses arms] [still looking downward] It was just a waste of time, I thought. TV: Does it unfortunately make, I mean....uh, you feel like they're--- [Wayne Cheney scratches his head confusedly, looking down] --- second guessing you, as a resident here? Wayne Cheney: [Smoothing back his Homer Simpson like locks, a behavioral grooming signal] Yeah, yeah [nodding, looking down] TV: (voice over) It is unclear if police have cleared him as a suspect Wayne Cheney: [rubbing eyes, closing eyes] I don't know. [Puts both hands up, defensively] I'm done. [Walks away] Yeah, Wayne. Just a waste of time. Heh heh. Heh. ~Wharf Rat |
