Hi everyone!! I havent posted much at all these last years but am quite a lurker still lol.. hopefully you guys can help!!
My husband has talked a long time about wanting to do a faraday cage. He's planning on making one and we were looking for actual necessities that could be put into it. The most important ones. The internet has recommendations but I'd rather get input from people who actual have one since you know best.
And in case of an empty, what are the best supplies in general to stock up on besides canned food and water? We live on a mountain, with river access (it's about a 20min hike). And we could collect rainwater no problem.
Looking for any insight!! Thanks in advance!!
Quoting: A Mommy ANY OLD MICROWAVE makes an excellent Faraday cage, cut off plug take all 3 wires and attach to grounding rod, at least 36" into soil
A plugged in microwave works in an emg situation also, just not as well
(PRO TIP... DO NOT TURN ON MICROWAVE WITH ELECTRONICS INSIDE!@)
