1945 CAPE FEAR FLOOD: This is what Florence could do

One of the most significant natural disasters in Fayetteville history occurred in 1945 when the Cape Fear River flooded from Sept. 17 to 25, and the river rose to a recorded 68.9 feet on Sept. 21. Hundreds of families were evacuated from the city and east of the river. Several downtown bridges were washed out, and people in canoes floated down Person Street. The grimmest forecasts for Hurricane Florence could surpass Matthew’s flooding of 58 feet in 2016.

I thought I read the army corp of engineers thought this would reach 63 ft next week in fayetteville?
 Quoting: MaximusRex

"The Public Works Commission said its wastewater treatment plants would not be impacted by flooding unless Cape Fear River water levels reach 65 or 66 feet. Currently, the river is expected to crest at 62 feet by mid-week."
