if they couldnt hack the systems offsite they would go in personally and do it onsite.

I guess we thought the press conference would be led by Rod Ro, but apparently it just means that he leads the DOJ.

Had to show they’re doing something I suppose (anything). If this is intended as a distraction from the other more pressing issues of the day, it’s a fail.

That said, I am glad that they’re identifying these folks at least (even though the GRU agents are laughing their asses off in Russia right now), but it also appears to be a convenient part of their narrative they hope to still control (even though they lost that control months ago).

It will be interesting to see how this plays out after the Kavinator gets confirmed.
