That video is so fake. You can't land something like that. It's absolutely ridiculous. Those of you who say you saw it post your videos, please.

The ability to transmit typed words through thin air is impossible... Nothing to see here.. Move along...

what parts of doing this do you think are beyond current technology?

gas jets....controllable fins....the rocket engine??????

sensors and fast computers....enough bandwidth to communicate between ground and rocket?

possible gyroscopes?

batteries?

low weight high strength materials?

smarter humans then your self?

I saw it in person myself, from launch to landing. This is my video.

Does anyone know if central ca or northern ca can see it? I'm about 40 miles from Sacramento.

a look at tech today from a live show perspective.

we can nightly, syncs video, audio lighting, and scenery with in a 1/2/" and .25 second. Then pack up and move to a new locations.

in some cases the timing will be so close to a zero of second the brain will never notice.

we can track video anywhere around a stage to a live performer blend this in with 3D video all around the performer.
the lighting fixtures are precise to 1/64" with a beam throw of 30' the stepper motor's shaft is no bigger the 2". They can blend any color on command.

the performer can be synced to the tech or the tech can be synced to the performer.

this will (almost 100% of the time) play back the exact same way every night.

this is nowhere near the tech they can create for their space program.

I'm in southern California and it's visible in the sky right now.

Night launches are so cool saw a space shuttle night launch from Canaveral a few years back

WOW, that was awesome!!! It actually made a cross in the sky for a few minutes, trippy.

I could see reentry a bit, but pretty dim to naked eyes. Could see it goo through night vision.

Perfect timing, serious clouds moved in right afterwards, couldn't see anything further in flight beyond that big plume thing.

Went outside and didn't see or hear anything but right at that moment my 2 dogs went absolutely crazy barking in the house so maybe they heard it!

It was beautiful to watch. I got a few good shots and a video of the separation. I’ll post links but it will be in about an hour.

Oh you know it. It launched into sunlight just like with CRS-15 which I filmed here:

Unlike CRS-15 and some earlier missions which did the same thing, this one involved a boost back to land and that no doubt made the display even more brilliant. The cold gas nitrogen thruster system firing to maintain attitude control during the return of the first stage will probably have confused most lay people viewing it. I'm sure YouTube is about to be inundated by UFO videos that are actually just videos of this launch.

That was awesome! I didn't have the best view, but it was at least clear here. I didn't see the separation happen, but I did see the part that was headed to space for quite awhile, very bright in the sky, it lit up a huge area.
