Everything in the bible is to help make one more spiritual

When you read the Holy Bible look for

Promises of God ("shall", "shalt")
Commandments (Written by God Jesus)
Statutes by rulers
Precepts ("He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.")
Promises of curses
Warnings of losing eternal life
Day of judgment, how it will end
Things encoded (something like/as/is something)
Clues to the history of the fall of man from heaven
If then else conditional requirements for salvation
Types of sins
Sins to confess
Sins to repent of
Prayers to copy
Characteristics to request and emulate
Gifts to request
Blessings to request (God Jesus is no respecter of persons)
Spirits to be delivered from

Doing the above and anything similar to it makes one more like God, more Christlike, Christian, conforming to the ways of Jesus.

If someone robs a bank and immediately and sincerely repents that won't stop the authorities from hunting them even though Jesus forgave them. If someone dabbles in ouija board or other witchcraft and years later asks Jesus to forgive them of all their sins he will, but that doesn't put the demons that are manifesting in their life back into the box. But there is a way to close the door on witchcraft and it is specified repentance.

Many Christians do not have a contrite heart. They did lots of evil, came to Jesus, received his forgiveness and then they ignore their past if they can. Their attitude is that of a stereotypical New Yorker: "Yeah I did it, so what? I got forgiveness now. Stop bothering me! Get outta 'ere!"

If the person were to repent specifically with remorse, already knowing that Jesus has forgiven them but still saying, "Oh my gosh Jesus I can't believe I dabbled in that witchcraft. Please forgive me and deliver me from that. Thank you Father amen", that person will be delivered of manifesting demons.

A big tough guy who always justifies his actions, forgiven by Jesus, tough, ROUGH, sharp around the edges, if he would but break down into the Lord and apologize and ask forgiveness specifically for his roles in the evil he has done not only will he find more peace but he'll be more soft, friendly, easy going.

Sometimes Christians say, "The enemy loves to remind you of your past", but I have found that while not thinking it is the Lord who brings to my attention the evil I have done as if to ask, "Would you like to say anything about this? (You don't have to if you don't want to.)" And of course I want to apologize specifically as I have nothing to hide or can hide from him, neither do I want to act like he's the only one who doesn't know what I've done. When I have apologized, asked for forgiveness and deliverance from a sin based on memory I have never thought of it again with remorse.

You see, asking Jesus to forgive you of all your evil is easy, and he will, but we still have to deal with it in that way. People are forgiven all the time but still have issues, but we are supposed to be forgiven and not have an issue which means the issue(s) need to be addressed specifically.


The bible tells of a prophet telling king Solomon to ask God Jesus for his heart and for wisdom. God Jesus sent that messenger to tell 1 person what to do. YOU are that 1 person who God is always commanding yet by example using other people in his holy book. Jesus is not a respecter of persons, why would he do for 1 and not do the same for you if you asked of him? Some pastors have humility, many pastors have a love FOR God as do many Christians, but most Christians have not asked God Jesus for his heart which is the love OF God which flows outward into the world and unto others. In that area many are cold hearted.

The more you repent with confession, apology, ask forgiveness, ask for deliverance, determine never to be part of it again, eventually you'll run out of things to repent of and you'll be as Christlike as you can get while still being you with your own personality.

Commandments of God are only what he wrote with his own finger. The 10 he wrote in stone with his finger. The 11th he also wrote with his finger:
St. John 8:6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

St. John 13:34 A new (11th) commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
