Yes but look at S&P500, down 4 percent on futures. Nassau down 5.3% for futures. Folks this is it, we will have a nasty drop, followed by a short bump upwards. After this, markets will free fall to losses never before seen. The debt situation and troubles in tech are driving the trend, but it has been coming for a long time. Look at the past 2008 recession and other downturns, they all share a pattern where the market makes great strides, higher and higher each week. Then in the year the drop starts, tyoical!y january, february, there is a sharp drop, followed by a bounce leading to new highs of close to the previous highs. Once that level is reached, a short time after the markets plunge (Like this week". This is typically followed by those "buying the dip" bringing a dead cat bounce.

After this, the shit hits the fan. We are likely either in the midst of the massive drop, or only a couple months away....

Mask, look up some of the highest stock gains in US. They always occur in the midst of a carsh, sometimes days after record falls. High volatility, and people looking to Buy The dip. The fact that February bounced back means little in the larger timeline of events.

Markets like all things are cyclical. We are well behind the 7 to 8 year periods. We are at ten years from the last recession.

Also, right before every recent ressesion, the media is filled with stories of record low unemployment, high consumer confidence, etc etc....All good news, always proceeds the carshes.

What they are not screaming is the record consumer debt. Auto loans, credit card loans, mortgages etc. Along with huge corporate debt, and finally government debt. All of these are so far behind previous records it's not even close. No one learned anything during the last great recession. We are repeating much of the same mistakes, as well as having monster tech bubbles, companies worth nothing close to a true value. Bubbles in debt, etc etc, as Trump said campaigning... "We are in a gigantic bubble". Those bubbles which grew markedly higher after he took office are popping...now

Maybe the reason that Dems were almost willing to sacrifice their own children to keep Kav from Supreme Court is his views on Chevron doctrine. I didn't think much about it, but he is skeptical about so much power given to Agencies that basically run themselves by unelected officials, yet they can greatly impact our lives.

It just occurred to me the THE FED is one such agency. I had been thinking EPA, BLM FCC (propaganda) but maybe, just maybe what had the deep state crapping in their depends was THE FED.

Perhaps the Kav confirmation is the beginning of the end for the fed, and everybody with a brian knows the fed has been the market's crutch for 10 years and probably longer.
