It dipped in the middle of the night and they took that price to show a huge gain. Manipulation. Gold is 1218 oz. That's down 1350 range in May, steady decline. so the gains need some context. I think investors thought there would be a rebound this morning, and there was...briefly. Once the market decided to selloff again, they quickly ran to gold. But yes, gold has been in a steady decline. Everything has got to be a THING today |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76580065 United States 10/11/2018 11:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We still have a Sears store in our town. The parking lot's been empty for two weeks, with only one or two employee cars. My husband and I regularly ask why they are still open. Every time we've tried to buy something there, the price has been 30% or more higher than other stores within walking distance. That's just bad business and unsustainable. It's not like our economy is rich just because there are a few people with money. The middle class is literally gone, and they were the bread and butter of Sears clientele. Everyone else is back to being dirt poor. You add that to the growing movement of anti-consumerists and retail is just taking a steady nose dive. What's an anti-consumerist you say? People who make their own ice tea instead of buying Snapple. People who buy their own beans and rice in 100lb canvas bags instead of buying Campbell's pork n beans. Etc. And they do it because it's healthier, not because it's cheaper. Retailers have lost American trust. So, when I start investing again, someday, when I finally graduate from my Ph.D. and have money again, I'll not be investing in retail :D It'll be environmental tech companies, and tech companies. Shit like that |

He also said we need to abolish the FED. Quoting: Evolution16 THEY HAVE NEVER LET THE GUESTS SAY THOSE THINGS BEFORE. Normally they have Warren Buffett and David Einhorn on after a big down day with the "invest for the long term" talking point. Everyone now is saying don't catch a falling knife. The media must have gotten the sign.... Uh Oh THAT is unusual. The MSM never let's guests say that kind of thing. This could be the beginning of the real fall. |

Yesterday they seemed a bit more subdued in their efforts. Even the guests they had on warned of the 14 trillion that was pumped into the market and quantitative easing..blah blah..some I think are beginning to get the picture and run for the hills/abandon ship. Quoting: uhhuh Follow the market trends. Every bull-bear market averages 3 major drops. We have had 2. This goes back to 1900. Just look at PE ratio's for christs sake. This whole thing will implode. To your point here is another post from a Fox viewer... Holy crap FOX biz guest says we are heading for straight free fall comparing to 1937. He also said we need to abolish the FED.
