Receiving holy spirit and how to activate?

I believe I've received the holy spirit following scriptures about certain things I've experienced. I now have a sudden urge of "activating the holy spirit". I dont know how else to explain it other than feeling a lot of power within my reach just waiting to be used for reasons I know not of yet. Only these are mental/spiritual powers and connections with God and angels. Or so it feels.

The Hebrew word for "spirit" is ruah. It basically means, the wind.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Remember the account of God breathing life into Adam? There's also the account of Elijah on the mountain.

1 Kings 19:11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:

The wind, fire, and quake (shaking) went before the Lord.

Then the "still small voice."

1 Kings 19:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

The bible describes the spirit that is in every living creature. "The breath of life."

When you see the word "Spirit Capitalized," the verse is referencing the "Holy Spirit."

The Holy Spirit opens our eyes, in Christ Jesus.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

When Jesus ascended into Heaven, he told the disciples this:

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

This is a HUGE subject, so I'm keeping it focused on mainly your question.

For me personally, I know that God does indeed teach us because I've seen it in my my own life.

Jesus said that we should come like children. Meaning that we should put our own ideas aside, and receive the truth that comes only from Him.

So while you are studying the bible, don't come to your own conclusions. (This is what I strive to do.)

Pray and ask God every question you may have, and He will reveal it. Sometimes the answer is built upon understanding other precepts, and sometimes an answer comes very quickly.

This is the reason Jesus said, "continue in my word."

Even when the disciples walked with Him, Jesus said this to them.

John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Many times understanding is like a building, the foundation is set in place, and the building is built upon precept, upon precept.

When Jesus said, "Seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you," He was meant it. This is imperative.

Can you go into Elijah on the mountain. And Luke 24:29 after someone receives the holy spirit they are meant to go to Jerusalem?

There is no passage that speaks of "activating," the Holy Spirit.

It's simply about you doing your part by believing Jesus and seeking Him with all your heart, mind and strength.

I think I understand what you mean when you say that an "urge," comes over you as you read the scriptures.

Remember that after Jesus rose from the dead, he met two disciples as they traveled. John ch. 4 I believe.

When Jesus revealed who He was to them, and departed from them, they said, "Did our hearts not burn with us as He spoke to us and opened the scriptures to us along the way?"

I often find that there is a "revelation," that is just being grasped, and sometimes, I have that same "urgent," feeling, like it's far greater than I can comprehend.

Jesus would send the helper to the disciples in Jerusalem.

The account is in Acts 2: 1-21.

This is when they were "endued with power from above."

Read the passages prayerfully, and ask God questions as you go. Remember that God gives certain gifts. Not everyone is a prophet, not everyone is a teacher, all are parts of the body.

We all come like little children, leaving our own ideas aside, and He teaches us.

With Elijah, everything that went before him was big. An earthquake, a fire, a strong wind that rent the mountain...and then...a still small voice.

Listen for that still small voice as you study, and as you seek the truth from Jesus.

Paul taught the churches, but he also told them this:

Ephesians 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

We can sharpen and be sharpened by others, but Jesus is the true teacher.

Does it talk about anyone passing out when they recieve the holy spirit?

Trust it because you know it well!
Feel the presence of all that love and power and become one with it.
Be sealed together.

Become the music. Become the higher vibration.

There is a sanctuary. Meditate upon it.

Lots of great info here. I could care less about earthly things. I'm already considered a nobody. No friends no social media, no degree and no desire for fame of millions of dollars aside from using the money to help others in need. I'm contempt with living a simple life with enough money for necessities but then again I know God will always provide as I've witnessed plenty. There are things I look at still as that would be nice to have such as a lamborghini but I dont look so much as before. I realize its just another material and there are people like those in mexico sleeping on dirt. How am I going to drive around in a lamborghini knowing there are people risking their lives for opportunities. A bit off topic. But why not.

I've witnessed how evil this world is that I yielded to God and prayed for hours straight to be delivered which I was. I thought to myself I was born on the wrong planet with how people these days are so self centered and selfish as well as judgmental. Its shocking when the closest ones to you put you through the worst. But then again if God gets off to making me suffer so I will call on his name so be it. I'm here to be of service to God in whatever way he wishes. Like I would want a wife to submit to me completely even if what I requested of her she found unpleasant. Its the fact that she would go through with whatever I said simply to keep me happy. Is the same way I wish to please God and make him happy. To be used by God however he wishes for whatever. I'm here for God a servant and soldier.

It does get frustrating as I feel I can be doing more. There are so many false prophets out there. Many deceivers and many false "ancient artifact" finds. I wish to be of use to God and to live rightly. But thats hard to do if I dont know exactly how to do so. I beg God to teach me. To give me wisdom. So that I may do these things. That I may be able to discern good from evil. To be able to heal others and cast away evil. I have became to understand aliens are the chariots/clouds(ufos) in the bible with human like form. But thats for another thread.

My desires are a wife sent by God. Stable oncoming funds to support myself comfortably and to help others.(also have credit card bills to pay ceaser). Friends with other believers to do lightworking i believe its calledd. I would give up everything if I had them for God as I know all good things come from God. There is no money, women, friends fame or anything that can take my faith away. I have literally been homeless and was delivered only after praying to God for hours. I have been taken to court and won. God has delivered me plenty of times I do not dare to betray him. I just want to please him and show my appreciation for grace and love I recieve from him. Not even death scares me. I'm for God 100%. God is my light and salvation my rock and deliverer. I owe my life only to God and worship him only. May call me a servant but I'm a willing slave. Just wanting to please my God however he wishes.

I would love Godly friends, my business to become a success, and a loving wife. But if that goings against God forget it. For my ultimate desire is to please my creator.I just wish I could bow down right ow and kiss his feet. Thank you so much for the love you gave me and continue to give. I feel so happy and loved right now protected fearless and just joyful. I"m actually tearing.

What do you mean when does the holy spirit activate. The Ruach is the very Spirit of Life itself. He doesn't need to activate. You need to be reactivated in the Holistic union that is given at baptism (Acts 2:38).

You receive the Holy Spirit at baptism. It has to be a valid baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

You got your Divine Fragment when you first performed a conscious MORAL ACT which on this world the average age is 5.

You activate your inner Divine Spirit by your choice and MEDITATION. IT IS YOUR FATHER.
