Quoting: Cartel™ He means it literally: "My shelves are empty, my warehouses are empty and soon I will have to close the doors. This has been my entire life -- I won't survive long after the doors close." Iran's economy had plenty of problems even before US President Donald Trump decided in May to abandon the 2015 nuclear deal and reimpose "crippling" sanctions. But that move exacerbated a record drop in Iran's currency, down 70 percent in the past year, and prompted an exodus of foreign firms. [link to www.rudaw.net] Thank you OP for posting this. Pres Trump re-imposing sanctions on Iran is a great idea- it will bring the gov't to the table if they want to continue in power. And on this same hand these imposed sanctions bring the squeeze on their govt (by private citizens) to revolt & install a newer form of rule whatever that may be. To date the current regime has been in power for almost 40yrs and these mullahs are not going to go lightly as they have been the criminals in ripping Iran apart from the inside out- lining their pockets with Swiss bank accounts ;their heavy investments in shell companies abroad. What you see on the video of the "man in the street" talking about how bad things are is in direct contradiction to the gentleman in the last part of the video speaking english. That lad is actually a supporter of the current regime & no matter how he wants to spin it , gloss over, etc.... it's a bad time in Teheran right now. People will be taking to the streets soon again most likely before the end of 2018. I state these things with full authority as I speak persian with a broad eperience of living in Iran "When I got up this morning Sigmund Freud was still in medical school" |
