I try do the changes, but I'm not there wonder how to start, recipes, when working hard, easy food, what to do, what to get, how to prepare..
Vegans, please help start the vegan process for me.
And what replacement, does it have to be organic (very hard only limited)

You no longer have to make your own meat and cheese like i used to do. And there are many groups on Facebook, join one called "what FAT vegans eat", the FAT stands for fantastic amazing terrific.

Just eat veggies, rice, beans, oatmeal (organic), nuts, etc. using basic ingredients and minimal good oils (olive, coconut). It's not that hard once you get in the habit.

Learn to stop eating for pleasure. Eat as if your life depended on it... It does.

Faux cheese, and meat might help in the beginning? But they are processed foods, expensive and often contain questionable ingredients.

And don't forget the B-12, most meat eaters could benefit from a B-12 supplement too.

What do you do to clean out the body when you haven't eaten like this. I was warned by a pro biologist you can screw up your body stomach if you don't get used to it first, clean out..

I've been vegetarian for decades and now I may be giving up dairy as well. I didn't mean for it to happen but I ran out of milk for my coffee, and I think I feel better not including it. Also I tend to not want to support even dairy practices, the separation of calves/kids from their mothers, etc.

There's a lot of good supplements, but it's easy to get carried away. And some of them aren't really very good for you.

Some vitamins are actually synthesized out of petroleum products. Some of them can be quite damaging. Check out "Vitamania" a good recent documentary on vitamins (it does have some cheesy "songs" in it though).

Country Life makes an excellent Organic vitamin where most of the vitamins are derived from fermented plants and grains, "Realfood Organics" All the vitamins come from the food blend except B-12, D3, and E.

P & B Shakes, they really sweep you out.

Psyllium Husk and Liquid Bentonite clay.

In a jar mix a tablespoon of Liquid Bentonite clay in 6-8 oz water, add a tablespoon of Whole Psyllium Husk. Put the lid on the jar and shake vigorously. Drink it quickly before it jells up and gets too thick. Make sure to drink some water afterwards.

Do this on an empty stomach, and wait a couple hours to eat afterwards. That won't be a problem though as it really makes you feel full. I do this once in a while instead of having lunch.

There's plenty of vids on youtube about P & B Shakes.

Good Luck, and better health.

OP, you just have to make a choice and then stick to it.

It is really that simple.

Why do you want to be a vegan? - Your choice.
Why did you slip from your vegan diet? - Your choice.

Self analysis is key in all aspects of life. Practice that first then you can do anything.

I am not gonna lie though. That steak looks pretty damn good.

Re: Vegans, help me go vegan
Why do you want to go vegan. It's bad for you. Plenty of "herbivore" animals will eat meat when they have to.

Eggs are not cruelty - chickens will produce them whether you eat them or not.

Dairy is not cruelty - most cows graze in fields or eat all the byproducts crop farming.

Eliminate meat farming and there will be mass starvation
The 1/3 of grain produced that is unfit for human consumption due to spoiling and contamination, can't be sold anymore. Currently this acts as a gigantic subsidy used to feed farm animals and supports current grain prices. Once it's thrown out and the -50% yield is factored into the price, it suddenly makes grain (bread et al.) extremely expensive.

Eliminate meat farming and you lose the fertilizer produced by these animals.

Meat is the best source for iron. Look up "bioavailability". Many plants that contain iron also contain chemicals that interfere with a person's ability to absorb those minerals.

Re: Vegans, help me go vegan
I don't suggest vegan unless one produces a lot of cholesterol naturally. Cholesterol is needed to make the adrenal corticosteroids and pituitary ACTH in normal earth people.

I had pituitary and adrenal failure some many years ago... and while a lot of that came back.. I need 3 eggs a day... so I can't be completely vegan but I would like to be. Thus I enjoy also small amounts of quality yogurt and cheese but I have to watch my phosphate intake from dairy.

I do not buy every day eggs... I get the best I can.. bare minimum is they must be cage free. The last several weeks I have been lucky and come home with marked down organic free range/pasture fed eggs and the difference if flavor and color is stunning..... I grew up mostly on real eggs where chickens go outside and I never forgot the flavor of those.

Yes I prefer organic eggs there's a wild difference and the farm I bought from you really see a big difference.
The shell is hard, not soft, the yolk strong yellow and the white.
So.. A tiny bit survival mouth spoon?
